Great experience at the Staybridge, reinforced by the fact that we changed hotels to stay on the Strip for our last night and opted for the Excalibur. Wished we would have stayed! So this review is from the perspective of a family considering whether to stay off the Strip or go to a lower end Strip hotel.

The Staybridge is practically across the Interstate from Mandalay Bay which is on the Strip. When we drove over to Mandalay Bay to see the Shark exhibit it was about a two minute drive.

Check in: short wait at the Staybridge. The desk clerk was alone so had a lot of things going on but it was still fast compared to Excalibur.

Room: we stayed in two different rooms because we extended our stay and had to change rooms. Both were great. The King Suite was especially wonderful.

Parking: easy at the Staybridge with several access points to make your entry closer to your room. On the Strip you will either pay for valet or probably have a long walk.

Pool: nice outdoor pool at the Staybridge with two hot tubs and a toddler area with waterfall, open late. Compare that to the Exalibur where the pools close at dinner time! Plus, at the Staybridge even with the hotel full the pool was not crowded at all compared to pools on the Strip.

Breakfast: included at the Staybridge with a good variety. A little crowded and some items such as waffles were not available close to the closing time. Still, better than fast food or paid breakfast buffet.

Shopping: the Outlet Mall (south) is a short drive away to the south (5-10 minutes) and without the traffic of the Strip.

Night activities: Staybridge has a free shuttle to New York New York. You have to book ahead for a return trip. We took a taxi back from NYNY for less than $10 including tip.

Other: Staybridge: wifi. Excalibur: no wifi in the rooms even for a fee

Resort fee: Staybridge: none. Excalibur: $20

As a final point it was nice to be able to leave the smoky casinos once we were done and be back at the Staybridge that didn't have to mask the smell of smoke everywhere.

P Englemannii, thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback, we appreciate you! I am so thrilled that we were able to exceed all your expectations your stay. We do make a great haven away from the Strip. What's great is we are close enough you can spend all day there, but it is nice to come to a non-smoking property and be able to use the washer and dryer in your room to get all the smoke smell off. We do hope to see you again, soon! --Nicole Marshall nmarshall@thmc.biz

We stayed here for 4nights, The hotel was great, good location close to the strip area and the airport, our room was clean and big. The staffs were so helpful with anything that was asked of them. A very nice place, close to everything and priced very reasonably... comfort plus! We highly recommend Staybridge to every body in Las Vegas. We will come back soon.

We absolutely loved staying here. My daughter got married in Las Vegas and there was plenty of room for her to get dressed, have her make up and hair done in the bathroom. Plenty of light in the room. The rooms are very modern and comfortable. Love the washer and dryer in our room, I got to wash our laundry before leaving...it was great when I got home, just had to put clothes away. Breakfast was great, plenty of choices. The pool was beautiful. We will definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: our room was facing the strip and it was nice to sit in the balcony and enjoy the view.

This was a very affordable way to stay close to the neon lights and action of the Strip. The drive was short. The only downside is that rooms facing the freeway do get some noise. Free breakfast and wifi were fine. Our room had full kitchen, and bathroom access both from LR and separate bedroom. Business area overlooking front desk had two computers and printer--very convenient.

Room Tip: Ask for room facing pool to reduce road noise, but on upper floor to reduce noise from pool side act...

Stayed here for three nights. Our suite was spacious and clean and quiet. Breakfast was great and the hotel location was convenient. Every staff member we came into contact with was friendly and professional. I noticed the carpets looked like they could use replacing in some areas but that was the only con. I highly recommend Staybridge if you are looking for a non-casino hotel that's close to the strip area and the airport. The value of this Staybridge is beyond compare. I will definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Room Tip: Our room was on the 5th floor overlooking the pool. We never heard a peep in the hallway the entire...

We stayed here for 8 nights. Strip view was great. Only issue was the freeway noise but not a deal breaker. If this worries you ask for a pool view but the view of the strip is worth it. Close to strip (7 minute shuttle or car ride) close to town centre and south premium outlet. Town centre have a great playground for kids (we went every day) there are also restaurants and shops and apple store (just in case) Room was big (we had a 1 bedroom suite) full kitchen and washer/ dryer. Heather was great (even when this mum was crabby after a 26 hour flight)
