Bally's looks a little old fashioned and many tourist comment on it as rundown. But the location, the staff and the service are what i would like to recommend. The moment I check in, it is quick to find the hall way to the elevator with a very easy flow. The room may seem a bit old, but it is spacious and comfortable without any strange smell. As a light sleeper, I sleep like a baby. I stay in the same room that I stayed in 2011, which faces Ballegio Hotel. At night, I can enjoy the music fountain show right from my room. The staff are friendly and eager to help. The environment in and out are clean and I can sense how much the hotel is doing to keep up with better quality to satisfy its guests. The price is really good for the luxury I have got in Bally's.

I stayed 3 nights in Jubilee Tower and music from outdoor nightclubs is way too loud. Windows in room were vibrating and I could feel the bass from the music. When called front desk every night to ask to be moved I was told that it wouldn't matter if they moved I would still hear the music and it doesn't stop until 4am. I will never stay at this hotel ever again due to the lack of respect and courtesy to it's paying guests. The music goes from about 8pm until 4am, so if these are your normal sleeping hours, i suggest a hotel far away from Bally's and Paris Paris. Absolutely worst stay at any hotel bar none.

Our trip to Bally's was a lot of fun! The service was great and the newly remodeled rooms were very nice! We took advantage of the 24 hour buffet special and had the opportunity to try the different buffets.

Bally's remains a good value and I have stayed there more than any other Las Vegas hotel. However, the slot machines and the selections have gotten worse every year. This used to be a fun place to play slots with lots of different denominations and games. Over the years they have followed the trend to electronic slots with fewer and fewer "older" reel slots. This past trip (June 2014) I could not find a single Double Diamond Deluxe three reel slot in any denomination. This is a shame because this game is simple to play and does not require mastering the game rules that are common in the newer electronic slots. Also, the newer electronic games can bankrupt you quickly by only paying out on the max number of lines and max number of credits bet. This often results in a penny electronic machine only paying out when you bet, for example, 20 lines and 20 credits. Voila! You now have a penny machine requiring a bet of $4 to hit a jackpot (20 lines X 20 credits). With the older reel slots you could get a nice jackpot on just three lines (3 reels) and a bet of 1,2,3, or 5 credits. Bring back the old reel slots, please! The newer ones are costlier to play and the likelyhood of hitting a penny electronic game jackpot for 50,000 pennys is very unlikely. The hotel is nice though and a good value. Just spend your slot money at another casino.

Room Tip: Get a room in the Jubilee Tower if you want to see the Bellagio Fountains. The Indigo Tower rooms wi...

Tried staying at Ballys since the Jubilee tower had been renovated but it was a mistake. We knew we'd made a mistake when we stepped into the dark, low ceiling, old time, cigarette smoke filled lobby and casino and saw the mile long check in lines.
The room was very nice and clean as was the bathroom but with all the money they spent on decor some should have been allocated to new windows. Ballys is surrounded with rooftop clubs that blare music till 3-4AM. The throbbing bass is enough to drive you crazy. It felt like our windows were open. I complained and suggested they include earplugs with the room. We bought them in the gift shop and they helped. Even the few shops were depressing. Did not see any decent food either. Just an old school gambling hall experience with senior citizen cocktail waitresses and dealers. Very sad. I thought I was on Freemont Street!
Oh, and don't get me started on parking! They share a parking garage with Paris so you walk a mile to get to your car.
We were lured by the cheap price but had we spent a little more we could have stayed at the Bellagio across the street. The two hotels and casinos are worlds apart. Don't be like us and assume the nicer places don't have deals. They do. We made the best of our stay but will never, ever go through the door of Ballys again.

Room Tip: Unless you plan to be up all night, no room is a good room

The corporate approach to the rewards (comps) program is bad marketing. The value received is practically worthless no matter what "tier" you are on. By my calculations it would take over 6 hours of table play at $100 per bet to actually earn any kind of worthwhile reward. The table limits during off-times are too high discouraging people from sitting down and "trying their hand" where you find empty tables with dealers standing around.

Room Tip: The rooms are fine, generally clean. I don't come to Las Vegas to be in a hotel room. I spend m...

True classics never go out of style, making Bally's Las Vegas the only choice for classic Vegas at the heart of the Las Vegas strip. And what could be more timeless than Mr. Las Vegas himself, Wayne Newton? In his original production, "Wayne Newton: Up Close and Personal," Newton sings crowd favorites as well as engages with the audience by answering questions, making for a truly extraordinary experience. Before the show, dining options at Bally's Las Vegas include BLT Steak, an interpretation of an American steakhouse with traditional fare and a bistro ambiance. BLT Steak is also the stage for the Sterling Brunch offered every Sunday where diners can enjoy the endless pours of Perrier-Jouët Champagne and unlimited American Sturgeon Caviar - the two pinnacles of the Las Vegas Strip's most famously indulgent brunch. If you're looking for a menu that's a little less traditional, SEA: The Thai Experience at Bally's Las Vegas offers delicious cuisine from southeast Asia. Buca di Beppo serves up classic Italian cuisine family-style, perfect for sharing and passing around the table.
