“One on Las Vegas's Best Food Values”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 May 2014

A dinner buffet is $9.99 on a normal weekday evening with the player's card. In Las Vegas, it doesn't get any better than that. The room is bright and airy and the staff providing service is better than most. There are several types of food available and everything we tried was better than average. Seriously, a salad bar, many choices of main dishes, nice deserts, beverages, all you care to eat? How can you go wrong?. You can't.

Tables nicely set out, plenty of room, clean, good tasty food, wide choice of hot stations and cold selections. Great desert selection, Free drinks. One of the best buffets I have been to in Vegas.

“This Buffet is a Hidden Gem”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 May 2014

My husband and I just returned from Vegas and we managed to go to Ports O Call Buffet twice.
We had the lunch buffet the first time-it has the best enchiladas among many other items.
Our second visit was for the Sunday brunch. This is not an uppity fancy buffet but the choices are abundant, food is fresh and tastes very good. Also the food is hot, not lukewarm. The prices are no doubt the best in Vegas and if you have a players card you save even more off the buffet.
I could go on forever about how fantastic this buffet is. Am planning on going to Vegas again and will probably have every meal at the Gold Coast Ports O Call Buffet.

“Good for the price”

They had a variety of breakfast items. The buffet closes between breakfast, lunch and dinner for set up.

“Substantial and Reasonably Priced”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 May 2014

This is NOT one of your upscale gourmet style buffets. What you get is reasonably palatable food at a fairly modest price. They do have stations with various cuisines (Italian, Asian, Mexican, Cajun, I believe), but none is memorable. I ate there because I was comped , which offset the recently instituted "Resort Fee". They no longer are doing this--just charging the Resort fee--which is essentially a way to charge considerably more for the room than their advertised rates. Unless it will be comped again, it's unlikely I'll return to the Ports O' Call Buffet.
