I loved this hotel. The only reason why I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the lobby is on the 23rd floor and in order to get to the 11th floor (where our room was), you have to go up to the 23rd then take another elevator to the 11th.

Free bottled water
Daily housekeeping 2 times a day!!!
Automated-everything! Even Curtains!!!
Very CLEAN.
Quiet rooms/halls
No Smoking in lobby or hotel
No casino! (very quite).
Almost like a hidden gem!

This has to be one of the best hotels I have stayed in....ever! Service was slick, rooms were amazing with great views of the strip and afternoon tea was just amazing. We were there for 4 nights and actually had afternoon tea in the tea lounge overlooking the strip three times! Hotel is great value for money and well worth paying a little extra for. Casino free and smoke free!

Room Tip: Try to look for offers on the Mandarin site. We got 3 nights for the price of 2 and splashed on a s...

Stayed at the Mandarin for 3 nights in June with my husband & baby boy. The hotel is beautifully decorated. The room size is quite good with a lovely bathroom. The views from high floors are amazing. Vegas at night looks lovely from up there. Very classy. It definitely beats all the other hotels with smoke filled casinos. I chose this hotel as it did not have a casino which I didnt want as I was travelling with my baby. The service is excellent, the concierge desk is so prompt. They recognize you by name. My husband had his birthday here and the concierge sent a beautiful looking pastry cake which was so yummy. I'd only stay here if I go back to Vegas!!

Room Tip: Higher floor rooms for the gorgeous views

2nd leg of a total of 4 legs of my honeymoon in USA and I wish it could have been the last leg as it raised expectations exceedingly high for other hotels to emulate.

As the hotel does not have a casino, you enjoy being in a very quiet environment but with easy access to hotels with casino. The only downside is, they do not have buffets that draws queues likes bees to honey. However, some of the good ones like Cosmopolitan and Bellagio are very close by so that isn't really a problem. Another drawback would be the cost of parking and wifi; but I guess at a hotel like this, it comes with the territory.

As I wasn't very interested in gambling, this hotel was ideal for me. All in all, a very good experience; that is if you don't mind spending.

Such a beautiful hotel down to every last detail. Every part of the hotel is decorated to the highest standard, truly a 5+ star hotel. One of the few non smoking hotels on the strip.

We are not gamblers so did not mind the fact that there was no casino. Because there is no casino the lobby is quiet and serene. It is located on the 23rd floor with fabulous views of the strip. There is Aria Casino next door if that bothers you..

We has Room 2003 with fantastic views of the strip, large room bathroom and walk in wardrobe.

Great gym for a work out. Would defiantly stay here again.

Our first trip to Vegas was definitely a success due to our choice of the Manadarin Oriental as our base. From the moment we arrived, we were treated exceptionally well - from the welcoming doorstaff and bellboys through to the superb concierge (special mention to Doug who was exceptional), front desk staff and Walter, the excellent chauffeur. It was evident that all the Manadarin Oriental staff had received excellent customer service training.
Our Manadarin premier room was modern, spacious, very clean and had a wonderful bathroom with separate toilet and a useful dressing room. The technology (mentioned by others on TA) was interesting, but we soon grasped it.
MoZen bistro was excellent for dinner - great food delivered by excellent staff - friendly, knowledgeable and keen to help. The bar was busy when we were there - hard to get a seat so sat outside in the tea lounge area - service there was not on the same par as other areas of the hotel. Not bad, just not outstanding e.g. removing candles at 10pm when there were still guests in the lounge and others arriving - gave an impression of 'trying to close up'.
We visited most of the top hotels in Vegas during our trip - we left every one of them saying we were glad we were staying at the Mandarin - others were noisy, busy, smokey and huge. If you want first class service and accomodation delivered in an aura of peace and calm after a mad Veags day and evening, this is the place for you.

This property is centrally located and probably the best value for a luxury hotel we've seen. We visit Las Vegas a few times annually and this is our favorite spot so far. The best attribute of this property is the resort-like, serene nature of it--all right in the middle of Las Vegas. It has all the hallmarks of a Mandrin Oriental without the less attractive features of the Vegas strip, depending on your perspective.

We gamble very little and visit Las Vegas for the weather, dining and nightlife. The property boasts a gorgeous pool area complimented with a fantastic spa. The pool was where we spent a majority of our time and trip. It offers exactly what you would expect from a five star resort. We utilized a cabana on the Friday of our stay and the service was excellent--highly recommended.

The room was moderately sized with an average view. It was well appointed with a luxuriously comfortable bed and a great tv and room electronics. The room controls for temperature, lighting, audio and entertainment can all be navigated on one device. The bathroom is well done and has a separate areas for the tub, toilet and shower.

Casinos reside across the street if you desire the gaming action that Nevada offers. Living in New York can make Vegas seem less like a getaway and more like a frantic desert extension of the manic city pace. The Mandarin Oriental is your best option for a relaxing experience while enjoying all that Vegas offers.
