Our room was absolutely beautiful. Very high tech room amenities and a lovely view of the strip. Perfect bathroom with roomy shower and separate bath (with TV!). The included breakfast was excellent. We had a Mexican dish and a Japanese spread that matched meals I have eaten in Japan. The location is ideal for wandering into shops along the strip. Highly recommended for a luxurious haven amongst the hustle and bustle.

Room Tip: Strip View rooms are a great way to wake up.

Stayed here for 2 nights and totally enjoyed the experience - quality service, great room and close enough to the action but removed to provided that escape from gambling/bright lights.

Would definitely stay again if we are in Vegas.

The bistro on level 3 is definitely worth a visit for a meal. We have been travelling in the States for 1 week and this is the best quality food we have experienced so far - nothing fried and no processed sauces,

The Mandarin is definitely hotel heaven from the moment we stepped into this amazing place. The oriental theme is absolutely fabulous and high spec attention to detail. The hotel smells amazing which us something that you would not normally say out loud, it has a relaxing oriental smell which just soothes you. We picked this hotel as a 50th birthday treat for my husband for 5 days and we had an amazing time. Unfortunately cannot tell too much as everyone knows " What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas". Therefore will give you the cliff notes version.
The room we opted for was a Mandarin Premier Room with a strip view, room number 1721 and as soon as you opened the door it did not disappoint . The view was phenomenal so much so that I left the curtains open for the duration of our stay.( My husband was not amused as flashing lights all night) . The premier Room was extremely spacious , a bathroom to absolutely die for. The bath was so large it actually covers your shoulders without having to lay down in the bath. This room was stunning , we can actually say that this is the most beautiful room we have ever stayed in.
On my husbands birthday they made a beautiful chocolate cupcake & left it in the room which I thought was really a nice touch. Even though the hotel is large the staff make you feel like individuals they are so helpful and professional without that fixed grin expression. This hotel really does understand the meaning of making their guests feels welcome, special and individual.
FYI, there is a service charge of $28 dollars a day which covers newspapers/water even if you have them or not. To be fair it is a high class hotel and to be honest i paid this willingly as had an amazing stay in this amazing luxurious hotel.
List of things we experienced:
Trip to the Grand Canyon via Helicopter- Queen of the sights tour. Arranged by the concierge at the hotel. Cost $1,028.00 for 2 adults. We'll worth the money as the ride across the canyon is amazing. Make sure the tour includes the walk on the Skywalk Glass Bridge Across the Canyon which is a must. A bit scary , but the view makes it well worth while. You are not allowed to take photographs on the Skywalk as they have a photographer. The photos produced are stunning and include other professional photos of the Skywalk in winter, summer and sun set. The cost of these were about $50 as a special offer. The photos come in a photo album which is a lovely keepsake.
The Gun Store. 2900 E Tropicana Ave . There are many packages to choose from to shoot a variation of guns / machine guns at this range. The staff are extremely friendly & Jarod was our trainer for the duration of this mind blowing excursion for a treat for my husbands 50th birthday. I was more excited than he was and could not wait to try out the guns selection. My favourite was the sniper rifle, I totally smashed the target with frightening precision ( All head shots). My husband exactly the same , but preferred the semi automatic machine gun. The cost of our package was $208 for both of us. You get a complimentary tee shirt ( Don't wear back coming into UK). The best thing of all is that you keep the target practice sheets for souvenirs . PS Get a cab to gun range as way off the strip .
We visited both designer outlets North & South and the outlet is definitely worth visiting. A tip if you shop in Ralph Lauren you can pay in either steering or dollars. Pay in sterling as much cheaper.
Would recommend to get a cab to the outlets as well, as you are unable to hail a cab in the street.
The best buffet by far in Las Vegas is situated at the Wynn Hotel . It is a little costly at $48 for two adults, but I can recommend that this will be the best breakfast buffet experience you will ever had. I compare it to going to Disneyland for the first time with that jaw dropping expression. This is a well earned treat and dining experience .
We went for a gamble at Caesars Palace and I found that we have a love for roulette. The staff at the tables are really helpful and did not feel pressurised to gamble. Suffice to say that if there are no winners in Vegas then we beat the odds.
The roof top pools are definitely worth a swim, it is an hidden oasis with cabanas that have TV 's in them. I hope that this has been helpful and apologise as longer than anticipated , but wanted to ensure that all information included helps . Viva Las Vegas.

Room Tip: 1721- Mandarin Premier Double Room . Extremely spacious room with floor to wall windows that give yo...

We stayed here for two nights after reading the reviews on Tripadvisor. The hotel is wonderful. It is located next to Aria and across from Planet Hollywood. I can honestly say that this hotel smells amazing everywhere. It isn't a strong scent, it is just clean and wonderful, like a spa. There is no casino inside the hotel so the focus is on relaxing. Everyone that works here is friendly and ready to help with anything. It was clean, comfortable and perfect for getting away from the crazy strip while still being right on it.

This is the perfect location if you want a relaxing hotel, with amazing service, close to the action but free of casino and smoke. This hotel smells amazing, even in the elevator. Everyone that works there is friendly and you can really feel they want you to enjoy your experience. The beds are comfortable and the vibe is relaxing. Really wonderful hotel. You won't regret staying here!

Awesome hotel. Well located (middle of the strip). Quiet yet not far from the action. Attention to details. Ultra professional, caring and smiling staff. Ask for the house car whenever it's available. A free ride in a Mercedes with a chauffeur certainly beats a cab ride.

We booked the Mandarin Oriental because although the location is great, we had been informed that the hotel was relaxing. I was initially sceptical and thought that if we were staying in Vegas, we should stay at one of the big resorts.

Luckily, we made the right choice. The hotel was incredible, from the service, to the decor to the chilled out atmosphere throughout the hotel. Our room was great with a huge comfortable bed, excellent entertainment system, room service twice a day etc.

The pool area was great - good food, drink and service and a welcome relief from the Strip. The staff brought round complimentary water and smoothies/ice cream etc throughout the day.

The hotel is right in the middle of the strip. Anyone worried about a lack of casino should not be. The mandarin oriental is as close to the Aria casino as many rooms in the big hotels are from their own casinos. Within 5 minute walk you can be at the Bellagio.

Definitely book this if you can ahead of the big resorts - you won't regret it.

Room Tip: Go for a high room if possible - all rooms will have a good view including 'city view' rooms...
