This was the first stop on our honeymoon and the best hotel we stayed at! The room was amazing, with fantastic views, an enormous bed and a plush bathroom. Yes it is pricey, but definitely worth the money. The staff could not do enough for you and we're very friendly, particularly Haley who worked on the concierge. She recommended some superb restaurants such as the Mix, which I highly recommend visiting. What I liked most about this hotel was the private entrance set back from the busy strip, all the other hotels such as the Bellagio and Venetian had casino's and were packed full of people. The Mandarin did not have a casino and was very quiet and tranquil, we will definitely be coming back again. My only gripe was that it was our honeymoon and they did not upgrade us when asked, it is clear to see why this hotel is number one.

Room Tip: The city scape rooms are large and have amazing views of the strip.

This magnificent hotel in the perfect antidote to the madness that is Las Vegas! We had an amazing time in all the casinos and shows but the pleasure of returning to this oasis of calm cannot be understated. The wonderful doorman said to us once on our return 'welcome home, you're safe now!' Which may sound a bit cheesy but it resonated with us! The rooms, the service, the pool and the food were top class and whilst they certainly know how to charge, I felt it was good value for (a lot of) money.

I must start by saying this hotel would have, without doubt, had a '5' rating had it not been for the fact that when we arrived at 4.30pm, our room was not ready; in fact it wasn't ready til 5.40pm. Yes, they gave us a free drink and then offered us $50 to spend in the hotel, which was great, but after a long flight and tiring trip, we just wanted to be in our room! Hasten to add the hotel states 3pm as check in time!
Moving on............EVERYTHING was pretty much perfect and I can completely understand why this hotel is rated #1 on TA.
The room was amazing, the bathroom bliss. The views wonderful. The pool area was paradise. The food at breakfast was delicious, afternoon tea was a delight.
The staff were incredibly lovely, welcoming, efficient, curtious and helpful.
It was sheer heaven to return to this hotel after being out in Vegas, a peaceful oasis of calm.
Vegas was an experience, the MO was the perfect place to stay.

Room Tip: Go for a high room, overlooking the Strip.

Although the hotel is in the middle of The Strip, you don't have Vegas on your back from the moment you leave your room until you return...but it's always a short walk or cab ride away.

The service, accommodations, and amenities were all superior. The staff was attentive, friendly, and helpful in a non-intrusive manner. Food, both in the MOzen Bistro and from in-room dining, was outstanding. I made extensive use of the hotel's laundry service and was impressed with the effortless service and the cost. Wifi on the 16th floor facing The Strip easily supported high quality streaming video.

The hotel is not perfect, but its imperfections are only noticeable against a backdrop of effort to deliver a world-class experience to guests. The electronic room controls could be more precise, the coffee could have been warmer, I couldn't figure out how to get my shoes shined while the room privacy light was lit....these are big deals to some, but taken in context they are trifling. Nonetheless, luxury experiences live or die at the margins and management should redouble the effort to resolve the small things that, cumulatively, detract slightly from an otherwise outstanding hotel.

Room Tip: Rooms that face The Strip are exposed to the sun for most of the day. Room blackouts can be used to...

A get away from a busy busy city. A high class hotel. They think about every detail. The room was very comfortable and the service was very good. Very close to the city center. The room gives best value for money. Dinning is a little expensive for Vegas standards.

From the second we got there we had amazing service. The bellboys took our luggage from the taxi and we didn't see it until we got to the room. The reception staff were expecting us and had tea & warm flannels waiting- which after travelling from the uk was well needed!
We were upgraded to the strip view suite which was absolutely fantastic. The freestanding bath and the bath salts were a good touch.

I would definitely stay here again, our last night in Vegas we stayed at the MGM and it didn't have a patch on the Mandarin!

Room Tip: The strip view suite is worth every penny!

I love love love the mandarin oriental in Las Vegas. I've stayed here every year since it opened and it remains my favorite place to stay in Las Vegas.

I can't stand the huge casinos and I'm not much of a gambler but I love the shopping and restaurants that Vegas offers. With the opening of city center, the place to be has moved up strip. Otherwise the four seasons would also be a fave for me. Encore is fab too.

With the mandarin, you get killer pool, fab gym and amazing rooms, and ya location, service and small hotel vibe. Oh ya. Love the bar too.
