“a little bit of quiet in a noisy town”
Reviewed 13 June 2011

I organized an annual conference at this hotel recently and will definitely try to hold it at this location again next year. This is a small intimate hotel WITHOUT A CASINO but within an easy walk to plenty of shopping and dining as it is right next door to Bellagio and Aria. This is an all suite (of various sizes) hotel and they were amazing!!!! Fantastic views, premium bath products, robes, slippers and a complete kitchen. This was the first time in so many trips to Vegas that i actually didn't want to leave my suite! I will definitely return.

A good value for a week long stay: just recognize it for what it is (or not). A no-smoking, no-casino hotel . . . but it is also a no restaurant hotel with a 'cafe' that closes at 8:00 PM. Even their in-room guide talks about the restaurant but it just is not open. Located in the new City Center it is a quick walk to Aria Hotel which has all the Las Vegas bells and whistles and eating spots. Not opulent, but very nice rooms with kitchen. You just have to ask to get robes, slippers, dinnerware, and a coffee machine at no charge, but be aware of the $20 daily charge for internet and other services. All-in-all a good basic stay without too much noise or hallway craziness . . . just a little. Good service but always seemed short-staffed at the front desk.

Room Tip: Just ask . . .

Good stay at the Vdara. Very nice room with a partial view of the Bellagio fountains. Loved the bathroom and the wall to wall window. Great price. Front desk staff were pleasant. Would definitely return.

We stayed at the Vdara for 5 nights and the room is amazing. Very big, bright room, with 2 LCD screens, kitchen, etc. Our view was sideview to the Bellagio fountains and Palms Hotel. Simply amazing.
Acess was easy thru Bellagio or Aria, and location was very good.
The hairdresser at the spa was phenomenal.
Service was a bit slow, as they have so many rooms. And you have to ask for kitchen tableware, as this is not in the room.
Anyway was a great stay.

The V'dara Suite was very comfortable and we had great views of the mountains. After coming in at 4am and closing the door to the suite, nothing could be heard in or outside of our room until we awoke at Noon to hit the pool. Bad thing was the pool area - most of the unbrellas were broken and it was kind of sparten. We were lucky enough to have frieds staying across the way at Aria which had 3 pool areas with trees and was much more enjoyable.

Room Tip: Ask and you usually get.

I spent a night at this hotel in early June with a group of friends. One thing I really enjoyed about this hotel is how quickly you can get from the lobby to your room. Going back and forth to your room in the larger Vegas hotels with casino's can take a very long time, but at Vdara in literally only took us three or four minutes. We had a corner suite with a full kitchen and the living area was separated from the bedroom. The room offered great views and was about a 10 minute walk to the strip, or about a minute to Aria which is a very lively hotel/casino.

The room service at the hotel wasn't great. It took them a very long time to deliver towels on a Tuesday morning. They also gave us the impression that they'd be able to give us a later check-out than the standard 12:00pm, but were unable to do so when we called in the morning. The room was very nice and modern, but not very open, so it wasn't a great room to party in. I was also disappointed when I arrived back from a night of partying in the early AM to sleep on the pull-out couch, and the bed wasn't made up. It didn't make for a great sleep.

This hotel would be great for a couple, or for someone who's not in Vegas to party. With the exception of the view, you don't really feel like you're in Vegas when you're at this hotel. I'd stay here again if I got a great deal, but would be more inclined to stay at a more lively hotel.

My mother and I had an all-girls trip to Vegas a few months ago and decided on the Vdara because of it's non-smoking, no-casino atmosphere. Very clean and neat... the only downfall was the kitchenette. We had to ask for utensils, mugs and plates several times and there aren't any grocery stores nearby to really buy food from, so it was all sorts of pointless. The room was spacious and the bathroom - AMAZING. Best. Shower. Ever. Really enjoyed it! Would definitely stay there again.
