“Amazing modern hotel room; central location”
Reviewed 15 December 2011

I stayed here for a business trip in November 2011. The room/suite was extremely spacious and modern. I liked that there were effectively 3 rooms plus the bathroom. A small entry/kitchen area with a table, refrigerator, microwave; a living room with tv and small desk; and the bedroom on the other side of the living room. The view was amazing. The bathroom was great - a separate shower and tub and just very modern, clean and new looking. The location was very central. I took a taxi daily to the convention center. Also, there is no casino in this hotel, but there is one across from the lobby and a small driveway area in front of the hotel. I would definitely stay here again.

The Vdara was clean, beautiful and a great place to stay for all ages! Our room had amazing views, a great size suite and the bed was super comfy! I also loved our big tub for soaking in after a long day/night on the strip! The Vdara was located between the Bellagio and Monte Carlo right off the main strip. Everything was in walking distance!!! They also had a little cafe that served breakfast, lunch, yummy lattes and had a mini grocery section! Next time I am in Las Vegas- I can promise you I will only stay at Vdara! Felt almost like coming home to our very own condo!!!

Room Tip: Ask for the side of the hotel where you can see the Bellagio Water Show & the higher the floor...

This was my first trip to Vegas and this was a conference/holiday visit. The conference organisers booked the hotel for us and we stayed 7 nights. Arriving at the hotel, we were lucky with check-in - a breeze compared to other members of our group who arrived at different times. They queued for 20 minutes or so. Prior to going, we checked out all the reviews and was totally surprised when we arrived in the room to find how big it was - some had claimed that the rooms were small!. I read somewhere that this hotel was built as an apartment building originally and turned into a hotel - hence the kitchenette and the dining area. Strangely, the kitchen stuff - plates, etc, were available only on request. The rooms looked, felt and smelt brand spanking new. Fresh and clean with modern decor and colours. Bed was ultra comfortable and huge. The shower was hot and strong. We asked for (and probably paid for) a room overlooking the Bellagio Fountains which were magnificant. Location was convenient to the Strip and also the casinos. However, in hindsight, it was a fairly lengthy walk to the strip along a deserted back road which may be very offputting to some. There was a tram that linked all the way back to the Monte Carlo, where we had other friends staying which was handy. There were chargeback facilities through several hotels in the same group (and same area) which was magic for the buffets and the pub! So plenty of pros. Top 4 cons worth mentioning: 1) the Resort Fee of $15 which appeared to be payable for a tiny bottle of water, they even managed to forget to leave water on 2 mornings. 2) The young ladies that booked the shows etc were so snobby that I felt I was intruding on their busy schedule. 3) I didn't take a laptop and they wanted to charge an obscene amount of money to use the Business Centre and 4) The cafe is very basic and it would be nice to see them re-open the restaurant on site. All in all, a nice hotel which I would recommend whilst it is relatively new. Hope this helps.

Have not been in Vegas in 5 years, this hotel is absolutely beautiful, rooms are amazing huge large suites it looks way better in reality then in pictures, we were blown away. Very comfortable beds, super soft linens. Its close to everything. Highly recomend thi shotel its very nice to get away from al the craziness from the strip to this nice quite hotel. The only thing I did not like was their market place cafe takes forever for food to come out. Aria buffet was good and its right next door. The weather is quite chilly in Vegas this time so defiantly bring warmer fall cloths. XS club in ecore was fun.

After not visiting Vegas for 5 years it has changed alot! Vdara is an excellent addition there!!! We traveled with a group of 9 people and all lived the hotel. It's very convenient to get around there, the only flaw is the market cafe in the lobby, we ordered one bagel with cream cheese to go and it took 20 minutes to prepare! And the didn't even put the cream cheese on the bagel it was on the side!!! All other cafes, bars, and restaurants are excellent

We spent 4-night over the Thanksgiving Holiday and satisfied with our stay. We like its central location on the Strip, 2-5 minutes walking distance to the Crystal, Aria, Cosmopolitan and Bellagio. The deluxe room we stayed was specious, clean and well-maintained. The staffs were courteous and helpful. However, I don’t like the room décor, which is plain and no characters. I also don’t think it is well designed, lots of wasting space. For instance, there is a big bath tub in the bath room whereas smallish shower. Right after you enter the room, you landed into a big kitchen/hallway kind of area, on your right hand side is all the kitchen cabinets, sink, counter top, which occupied approximately 1/3 of the area whereas the rest is totally empty, feel like it is unfinished. The hotel pool is nice but relatively small and shallow if compares to the most of the casinos on the Strip.

Room Tip: ask for a room on the high floor

this is a real high quality hotel very well situated on the strip. Staff are very attentive and the rooms are furnished to a high standard. my only criticism is the lack of a coffee machine for such a high quality establishment this to me was unusual. The coffee shop in the lobby is ok but prices are a little on the high side even for a hotel of this standard. The lack of restaurants is not too much of an issue as there are good things to be found at the Aria and Bellagio both of which are attached to the Vdara. Bed was very comfortable and also a good selection of products in the bathroom. The seperate tub is a nice touch. The concierge staff were very good and managed to get us prime seats for the tribute to Elvis show in the Aria at a very good price similar to what we had be offered earlier in the day at one of the ticket outlet stalls but the ones they were offering were further back in the theatre. Check out even on a Sunday was very efficient and the baggage storage for later flights was very welcome. the only reason i've not given it 5 stars is the lack of in room coffee but thats being harsh on my part i just so needed a coffee on Saturday moring after a long night in the Aria casino.
