“Awesome Stay at the Vdara!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 February 2013

What a beautiful property just a block off the strip. Have always stayed at the "themed" resort and casinos on the strip. The Vdara is an elegant, smoke-free, quiet get away in Las Vegas. Would highly recommend. The food and beverages, staff, rooms, and everything about the hotel is pretty close to perfect!

Straight from the front door to your elevator in 30 seconds with no casino to walk through and no smoke to breathe. Gorgeous rooms with mini-kitchen and laundry (at least in my room). A lobby bar with only amatuer drinkers. Friendly, efficient service. No long line for a taxi. 3 casinos within a 5 minute walk. That's what I'm talking about.

Chose it for our teenaged girls' first trip to Vegas. Loved the spacious clean rooms, the views, the cleanliness, the free internet, and the nice staff-- the ce. The Do Not Disturb buttons are a great touch. We chose it because it was a non-smoking and no-gaming hotel and for our family, that was great!

Room Tip: pick a room on the top floors for the view.

Me and husband stayed there five nights during Chinese new year. Vdara is different from other resort in Vegas. First it is holy one no Casino. Then the setting of the resort is totally different from others like monte Carlo, bellagio, Wynn, the Venetian. It is just simple. You get everything you need in the room. But one thing I have to mention is the lighting and the tv controller. few lights are out of order twice during the stay. Room service food ( we tried shrimp cocktail and tuna noodles, chicken fingers and wings) were bit slow, my comment on food is better choose American style. Valet service was good and the taxi stop staff were helpful. I have to give high credits to front desk, they are very friendly and helpful. First they let us early check in. Second I missed my fligt on last day then return back to Vdara, the front desk staff just helped me arranged everything in order so to release my burden. Thanks! I also visited the spa due to swim pool closed. it was comffy and private, clean and well facilities like steam, sunna, jucuzzi, snacks etc. I regret not visited there earlier, i think it worth the value. Overall I like Vdara as it is clean ,quiet ,friendly, simplicity and very convenient connect to bellagio.

While the rooms at Vdara have most of the bells and whistles as other high end hotels in Vegas, they do not quite have the same wow factor as something like Aria. However the big plus at Vdara is the space and layout of the suites.

Our suite had a separate living area and bedroom with ample space.....really comfortable with great views. If you don't care about space for just 2 people and are just looking to impress, I'd suggest Aria or Cosmopolitan. If you want something quieter and roomier but still incredible, Vdara is for you.

Stayed in the Deluxe Room for one night. Check in and check out were easy and quick, front desk staff friendly. We were allowed to check in before the official check in time, which was appreciated. Noticed that in the evening there was someone standing by the elevators asking to see the key before you could get to your room. The room itself seemed a bit small but cozy, with comfortable bed and pillows. There were no bathrobes in the room, which was surprising. Contemporary look, sleek furniture, big windows. Great panoramic view over the desert with a glimpse of the Bellagio fountains. The kitchen did not have any utensils. The bedroom and the living room were separated by a “wall” with TV’s on both sides. Disappointed that the pool area was closed (due to high winds, we were told); the pool was one of the reasons we chose to stay at this resort, and we were unable to use it or even walk over and see it; so we paid the resort fee ($25 plus $3 tax) for 2 bottles of water and a newspaper... The printing of the boarding passes with no additional charges was nice (probably included in the resort fee as well). It’s quite a walk through the Bellagio to get to the fountains and The Strip, not a big problem if you’re not too tired. Alternatively, you can walk outside through some dubious back streets, but have to watch for traffic. The train to Aria is close-by.

Me and my wife stayed at Vdara on a leisure trip to Vegas. We had chose to decided to stay at Vdara based on the reviews on trip advisor. The stay started on a good note when they offered us 3 hour early check in. The room was open and clean with a kitchenette. However there was some kind smell as if previous guests smoked. I called the front desk and within 5-10 minutes we had a supervisor come in for an inspection. She offered us two choices; move to a different room or they will spray the room fresheners. We chose the second option as we really liked the view from 41st floor. We were told to leave the room while they spray the fresheners and when we came back it was delightfully clean. The front desk called after an hour to follow up if we were satisfied. Nice.
The cutlery is provided upon request only. And in our case it was delivered very promptly.
