Clean room, good price, great service. Arrived a couple days before EDC and was surprised at the size of the room. A king size bed and a full size pull-out couch. Full kitchen with an awesome microwave for leftovers. 2 huge wall-mounted LCDs. Service was prompt and friendly and also used the spa for the first time there, which was great. Couldn't ask for much more. Thanks!

Room Tip: Ask for a view of the Bellagio fountains.

We got the end of the tower facing west and the mountains and could not have been happier. Huge rooms with no smoking. Fabulous views with huge windows. My wife and I loved the lack of casino. Our trip consisted of a show and many fine dinners. Also a drive hoover dam. If you stay in Las Vegas rent a car a take a few day trips outside and see the areas off the strip.

Room Tip: Ask for a higher floor.

We booked a deluxe corner suite on a mid to upper floor... WOW!
Included, full bath and shower, granite counters with double sinks.. Also had kitchen with table and chairs, separate sitting/TV room. King bed with 270 degree corner view.
Clean, quiet, spacious, modern. We appreciated the staffed secure elevator access, the valet parking and that the entire building is non-smoking..
Spa on site, although we didn't use it.
Located a block off the strip, and only a minute away from the ARIA casino and shops.
Of all the Vegas hotels, this is by far our favorite.

Room Tip: Book a corner suite for the deluxe experience.

I've been to Vegas a lot and stayed in many of the Strip hotels, and the Vdara is hands-down the best hotel I've been to. Some would consider the lack of a casino to be a problem, but the proximity to Bellagio, Aria and Cosmo makes that a non-issue.

We spent 5 nights in one of the Executive Corner suites. The view was spectacular and it was a very quiet, comfortable room. The room size was unbelievable (bigger than a lot of apartments!) and the full kitchen and washer/dryer were perfect. The room was so nice that it was hard to leave to go out and do things!

Speaking of "doing things", the City Center area is a great location for jumping off to other hotels and casinos...and you don't even have to leave, given all of the restaurants and shopping within the immediate vicinity. Having a Walgreens and CVS next door/across the street is quite convenient, especially given that both have a full stock of food, drink and liquor. Breakfast could have been a bit of an issue given that there's only the Market Cafe in the Vdara, but I thought their prices were plenty reasonable compared to the rest of Vegas, and we had breakfast there several times...and the food was great!

The only downside to the Vdara I can think of is that the pool is a bit too small for the size of the hotel - on several days it was tough to get a chair. But we didn't spend a lot of time at the pool anyway.

Overall, it was a fantastic stay and I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

Room Tip: High floor. I don't think there's a bad view in the place.

This is a great non-smoking hotel. It is much more quiet and a lot less crowded than your regular vegas strip hotel. It is connected to Bellagio and Aria for all your gambling needs, but doesn't have the hustle and bustle and cigarette smoke that can really cramp your style. Well appointed rooms with a friendly staff.

My wife and I like this hotel a lot and have stayed here several times. The executive corner room is great and we have always had great views. It's also nice to be in a smoke free environment and you notice the difference when you cross over the bridge from the Bellagio almost immediately. There's no gaming but this is easy to get to either at Aria or the Bellagio.

In terms of decor, think a nicer W Hotel. The furnishings and general feel are pretty similar here so you're in for more of a modern feel compared to the Palazzo or something to the effect.

Also, if you are a big pool person, beware the Death Ray that is caused by the sun bouncing off the glass of the Vdara. We actually had a water bottle partially melt so you might want to keep this in mind if you are a big pool person.

Also, If your in the area, I'd swing by Jean Philippe Patisserie at the Aria or Bellagio as these are some of the best croissants I've had in the US.

From the Valet, to the bellman, to the front desk, to the woman who cleaned our room...it was the best service I've ever had. I worked in the customer service consulting industry for over 20 years, so I know what I'm talking about!

Room Tip: the sofa bed was not as comfortable as it could be. Need a foam topper.
