My family and I stayed at the vdara for 7 nights as my partner and I were in Vegas to get married. We had booked a vdara suite as it was a special occasion, as this was one step up from the most basic suites. We requested a view of the Bellagio fountains when we booked explaining we were there to get married, however on arrival we had a rather less glamorous view of the taxi rank. The room was amazing but we were disappointed with the view so went to speak to the front desk. We ended up downgrading to the anything but basic deluxe suite as it had the most spectacular views, and found that this was not hugely different from the vdara suite, maybe ever so slightly smaller. Waking up and going to sleep with a view of the Bellagio fountains and all the bright lights of Vegas was so fantastic. The location was pretty central so we couldn't have asked for better really. We were directly connected to the Bellagio and only a short walk from Caesar's palace which was awesome. The vdara does not have its own casino so is relatively quiet compared to the footfall in other hotels which we preferred, however should you wish to have a flutter there is easy access to casino's, we frequented the Bellagio when we wanted a gamble as it is directly linked. Staff were friendly and polite, also prompt with room service. Our bill at the end of the week was around $100 however they waived this in light of our downgrade which I'm sure saved us more money than we'd paid in the first place. Overall a fantastic stay, I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else in Vegas should we go back!

Believe it or not the last thing we wanted to do was gamble, (we went to see The Grand Canyon, and Death Valley), so we chose a hotel with no casino. But they get you by having no pedestrian access unless you walk through the casinos at the Aria or Cosmopolitan. The hotel was absolutely fine with great rooms, staff and facilities. Had we had been able to get out easier I would give this hotel 5 stars.

Vdara was really nice, it's just off the strip so it's not noisey at night but it's close enough to walk (maybe 7 or so minutes). The room itself is smaller than expected but still quite spacious, with the kitchen having a dining table. Beautiful bathroom with shower and bath. The bed was sooo comfortable we slept like babies.

The only thing that slightly irritated us was the fact that you had to keep requesting cutlery and utensils but they do bring it up quite quickly.

Also be very aware of all deposits and/or charges before you get there, as when we got there we didn't know, luckily we were able to cover it but just prepare everything you need before you arrive.

Reception staff were really friendly and concierge were amazing! They helped us book a few activities.

The pool was nice, we only went once so the size of it didn't bother us but it can get quite busy.

Vdara is lovely and I would definitely stay there again. If you want to have the flexibility of cooking your own meals, ordering in or warming up your leftovers this is the perfect place.
