“Very good central hotel - nothing fancy (good location&room amenities)”
Reviewed 2 July 2014

Enjoyed our stay here in June 2014. We stayed in a one bedroom suite, which in the whole was good with regards to the amenities...huge fridge (with ice machine) microwave, coffee maker (if it works) dishwasher, iron&board and in particular the washer/dryer!
We stayed on the 29th floor which is one of the floors that is still to be updated and the decor was a little tired. Avoid ordering room service as there is a rather hefty tray charge which just about doubled the cost of our order. The cleanliness of the room was ok, but not excellent - there was quite a lot of dust in our room...but nothing that caused us to complain.
The pool is ok, but can get rather busy...it is a bit hit and miss regarding the pool service you get and if you want peace and quiet you should give this a miss...but we enjoyed the music and atmosphere. There is no separate childrens area of the pool so the kids are mixed in with those partying.
There is a 24 hours starbucks which we made good use of...but do note that certain times of day do get very busy there.
You are right next to the Miracle mile shopping, which is absolutely excellent and you are right in the heart of the strip so can't fault the location. You are also handy for a car park, once you find out how to locate it.
Would definitely stay here again...just hope the pool experience improves a little!

Room Tip: The one bedroom suites are really good - just try and get one of the updated ones

Wow factor plus..... everything about this property was fantastic. We were blown away by our Room, the size, the quality, the cleanliness, the general overall finish. The roof-mounted AV projector and the way it is displayed on the lowered window blind was a real treat. Our king-size bed was by far the most comfortable we experienced throughout our US holiday. Our teenage sons were comfortable on the pullout Sofa Bed. Ensuite with Spa was great, as was the well appointed Kitchen. Staff were great, concierge most efficient, however undercroft Parking was a bit hit and miss as it is a shared facility with a few other properties (including a Casino) and was 99% full, 99% of the time.... but I hardly think this is something that should impact your life too much. If it does, you have the option of using the Valet service! All in all, I rate this property and our experience here extremely highly, and would not hesitate to return here in a heartbeat.

Spent 3 nights at Hilton Elara. Good hotel for families. Miracle Mile underground very convenient. I would however not stay there if my primary interest was gambling and/or adult dining, shows and clubs. Clientele leans more toward families and guys/gals group weekends. Overall, very good hotel though. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Special shout out to valet guys!

Room Tip: Do not order room service. Too expensive. Take advantage of kitchen or Miracle Mile shops.

Stayed there in June 2014 during EDC Week and it was a prefect place to be during that crazy time in Vegas. We knew that we will be parting hard during the whole week, and especially weekend (EDC), so I wanted to have a nice place where I will be able to relax after crazy nights, and it was perfect. nice pool area with good Mojitos, connected to the shopping mall. We had 1 bed apartment with lovely view of Paris Paris and Eiffel Tower, room are speacious and very clean. We stayed in 5117 on 51st floor, it was prefect.

Like all of the HGVC properties, this one does not disappoint. It's practically brand new and the 1 bedroom junior suite is large, spacious, and has some great views of the strip! What's interesting here, is that the hotel is connected to all of the shops and restaurants attached to Planet Hollywood and attached to the casino at Planet Hollywood. So, you get all of the benefits and conveniences of staying in a casino hotel, without any of the downside (e.g. walking through he maze of slot machines to get to your room!). Anyway, when I bought my timeshare here in Orlando, it was site unseen. Had I been here when I bought, I may have decided for a larger investment. I look forward to many more visits to this property over the coming 30-40 years :)

My only complaint, was even 20 floors up, you could here some street level activities around 8 AM (music and things). Normally, this would not bother me, but in Vegas, 8 AM is REALLY early!

Close to the strip without having to be around a casino. Very nice property. Great pool. One bedroom suites are great. . Connected to the planet hollywood miracle mile shops. We found it very convenient. Great for families with kids who need a full kitchen.
Use the bus system to get around. - so cheap!

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the strip above the 25th floor

My family and I spent two nights here in a 2Bdr suite to view the property and potentially become owners. The rooms are beautifully done with over-the-top luxury, it makes you feel like a celebrity. Without the tour, it's much too expensive for a stay in Vegas since you'll be seeing shows, gambling and spending little to no time in the room. For a honeymoon or romantic getaway with someone who doesn't gamble it's absolutely perfect!
