You sorta become immune to the charms of Wolfgang Puck's restaurants since they appear to be everywhere (McPuck's). On our most recent trip to Vegas we walked past this particular place several times on our way from our hotel Aria to the Strip. Timing is everything. On our way out one early evening we walked by the Pizzeria & Cucina and frankly it smelled really good. A quick check of the menu assured my wife, daughter and myself we all saw something we might like. Seated immediately, the host and wait staff made us feel at home - they were engaging and employed a team approach. Caesar salad, octopus salad, margherita pizza and a side of Tuscan potatoes later, we were very happy with our choices, the portion and the value for the $$. The tasty valpolicella didn't hurt either, The meal was a great bang for the buck. Couple nights later, despite the many dining options available, we went back to Puck's place before our Zarkana performance ... another terrific dinner with some of the usual suspects and spaghetti with meatballs replacing the pizza. We lingered over dessert and more of the wine. Here's to knocking out stereotypes - this Wolfgang Puck restaurant cast its own image and provided fantastic value. Recommended.
