“Excellent buffet at Palms Bistro”
Reviewed 23 February 2014

Had lunch on Wed. Feb. 19, around noon. No line and was seated promptly. Wide variety of main courses to select from. Loved the seafood cioppino stew. Loaded with lots of seafood. Went back for several servings. You get wine or beer included for only $8.99 with players card. Tri-tip at carving station was also very delicious. Many other varieties of food, from Asian, Italian, Mexican, and Mongolian. One of the best buffets in Las Vegas for the price. Small dessert selection, but by that time in the meal, who has much room for dessert.

“Not worth it at all”
Reviewed 3 February 2014

Small selection, food wasn't that great. Waitress decided to put us right in the way of the most traffic in the Buffet. Not worth the money at all, would not do it again.

“By far, the best lunch buffet deal in town”
Reviewed 21 January 2014

I'm a little surprised this buffet doesn't have a better reputation. There are lots of buffets in Vegas that are good but expensive, and a lot of buffets that offer slop and are inexpensive. The joy of the Palms buffet is that the food is high quality and interesting, but also inexpensive. I think the sweet spot is lunch where, for $9 with a free player's card Monday through Saturday, you get a pretty fancy spread and free (cheap) wine & beer. Dinner is also good, but more expensive. Breakfast is also a very good deal at $7, but there's more competition in that space at this price point (the nearby Orleans is good for breakfast, too).

While some people might think the Palms buffet is "small," looks can be deceptive. There are dozens of dishes available, and they seem to rotate them to make things interesting. Seafood, beef, Asian, Mexican, etc. Dessert selection is more limited, but very tasty -- try the cheesecake.

This is 5-star value, even if it's still a bit of an off-Strip secret. BTW, the hotel is also nice, classier than its nearby competitors.

“It was worth the price”
Reviewed 21 January 2014 via mobile

Went for dinner on a Sunday night. Got the Palms players club card and paid $16 a piece. The food was okay, nothing great. They did serve free beer (Busch) and wine. I probably will pay a little more somewhere else next time.
