My sister and I shared a room at the Palms. We were both very pleased with this property. The rooms were spacious and clean. Free shuttle service to the strip made it convenient so we didn't feel like we were missing out by not being directly on the strip. We went to Ditch Friday and that was fun! Lots of food, drink, and my favorite, people watching! The pool guys and gals were friendly and frequently asked how we were doing or if we needed anything. Our room rate included daily breakfast buffet for the both of us. I would recommend this property!

We had never stayed off the strip before but could not resist the low cost. Let me start by saying our room was big and clean and comfortable....when we finally got there. We checked in late (thank you Spirit Airlines) and our room wasn't ready yet. We were there for our honeymoon and the desk staff had a difficult time comprehending two men would want a king bed. This ignorance enraged me. Ultimately they comped us a meal and sent us a bottle of champaign but the PR damage had been done.

The pool area is small and mostly shaded, which might be good in July but for sun worshipping in March it was frustrating. Additionally twice a week there are blow out pool parties which are fun to watch but make relaxing a challenge.

Shuttles run regularly to the strip. However the run more frequently from Rio so we walked down the block to catch their shuttle. The walk wait and ride took about 45/60 min each way so two hours total lost ended up not being worth the room savings.

Yes. Love the location. Love the slots, the buffet and the movie theater. The room was lovely with a great view of the strip. The Palms definitely has the loosest slots on the strip--with all the fun games.

Room Tip: Ask for the Ivory tower.

The room was good value. Overall, I love the room! The beds were extremely comfortable and I like the size of the tv. However, the shower was odd since it didn't have a shower sliding door or screen to protect water from going on the floor. Basically, you couldn't close the shower. So, when I took a shower, water got on the floor. The free access to the pool was nice. The pool was sparkly and very clean.

Room Tip: Try to get a room facing the pool area for a nice view.

Stayed at the palms for a-little under a week for a conference. The rooms are have clearly been renovated recently and were well appointed.

What is disappointing about the Palms is that it is not close to anything and there is not a great amount to do at the hotel. The Pool area was mostly empty and by no means was a happening place. There aren't many restaurants in the hotel so its difficult to get variety. Be prepared to take a lot of cabs. Typically 15 bucks to hotels on the strip. Otherwise is about a 30-35 minute walk to Caesars.

The view from Ghostbar is amazing, and its definitely worth going up there if your staying at the hotel, or just have some time in the evening. Everything is half price before 10, making it surprisingly, one of the most affordable places to have drinks from 8-10 in Vegas.

The room was a good value, the Ivory Tower rooms were very comfortable, nicely appointed, and really beautiful...I like staying off the Strip where I find the Palms to be more of a "boutique" type hotel...finely appointed, great amenities yet a smaller & more intimate atmosphere..thoroughly enjoy this type of atmosphere over the hustle bustle crowded Strip hotels

Room Tip: All the rooms at the Palms Casino, are GREAT!!!
