“Good but not great”
Reviewed 7 May 2014

Christian our tour guide was great. Arrived on time and explained what was to happen in the tour. Cold water was at hand if you required. Counts Kustoms was the first stop, although called a VIP tour, it really isn't as all places are open to the public, this said, the guys working at each place knew Christian which helped. We were lucky to see Horny Mikes green van in the car park, you could go and take pics and get close to it. The van is amazing. Apparently we were lucky as it's only there 5% of the time. Inside Counts itself, it is very cramped. You get to see his cars they are so packed tightly in, that you can't get a decent pic of any of them. Overall, a good place to see. Next off to Ricks Restorations. Again, open to public, we got to see several guys from the show, Bretley, Tyler, Kowboy and several others. All were very friendly and Kowboy is like he on the show!
You get to go on a tour of the premises but you cannot take pictures as things that have not been on the show yet could be seen being restored. It's very hot inside the building, my advice, take some water.
Pawn Stars next, Christian mentioned that we were going to be lucky as there are usually a long queue to get inside the building, but as we were with his tour we would bypass the queue. When we got there, there was no queue at all! The store itself is quite good, you get to see several items from the show, you will find yourself in and out of the store in 10-15 minutes.
Toy Shack next, very small shop with items everywhere. Didn't get to see the owner, saw some really good things and was amazing to hear how much old toys can be worth.
Bonus stop was the Sports Memorabilia store (which by the way, is next to Toy Shack), the owner was there who the guys from Pawn Stars call for sports stuff. He was very informative.
Then we were going to go off to ATM but Christian, started to drop people off back to pick up points as you go past these on the way to ATM. By the time we got back to our Pick up point, it was already 5:30pm and there was no mention of Christian returning us back here, everyone was on the same thought as he was going to leave us at ATM, so 90% of the tour got off!
Overall a good tour and value for money.

Thank you for your recent feedback! You're review sounds like you had a pretty amazing time! Also, Glad you got to see some of the cast members!
We can also assure you people who go there on their own do not get the same treatment. We appreciate your feedback, but we'd also like to share that, when you meet some of the people from the show, its not a coincidence, we coordinate stops and times to maximize your experience.
We are the only tour company giving a guided tour at Count's Kustoms, which is pretty thorough about the history of the show and the cars. Anyone who goes there on their own, does not get that kind of treatment......they're on their own. You also get a very knowledgable tour guide, a fun time on the bus hearing the history of Vegas, the shows, trivia and other bonus stops and meet and greets.
We say this with the utmost respect and appreciation to your review because we want to assure you, compared to going on your own, it's definitely VIP. Can you go their on your own absolutely!......but do you receive the same treatment...absolutely not. To get a well rounded tour and to maximize your stay in Vegas and compress your vacation, a tour was your best bet Again thank you for your review, for touring with us and for commenting....."Overall a good tour and value for money."
You're the best and we appreciate your 4 star rating! Have a wonderful day!

Thank you for touring with us and for your recent feedback. First, we'd like to apologize because it sounds like the VIP benefits weren't explained to you. Given the VIP tour there are plenty of benefits that guest receive and In your case, we are so glad you got to ride with Brettly's Father.....Yes, one of the cast members father! Wow, that must have been amazing. Just so you know, he was available only for a limited time and he was your personal tour guide through out your tour!
Also, not everyone gets the same treatment. For example, there was a huge line of people waiting about an hour to get into the Pawn Shop, the day of your tour, and I know it can seem insignificant, but when you get direct access into the Pawn Shop while everyone else waits,
thats pretty awesome!
With Brettly's Father as your personal tour guide......while at Rick's Restorations, you got an in-depth insight on how things are restored, about the show and got to meet some of the members. To top it off, Rick's does an amazing job of making guest on Annie Bananie Tours feel like VIP. For example, at the end of your guided tour at Rick's, we had a couple of the family members, Ally (Kelly's Daughter) and Michelle (Rick's niece) come out to meet & greet Annie Bananie guest, played a trivia game with you guys and also gave everyone autographed photos of Rick Dale.
It may seem like everyone receives the same treatment at Rick's, but I can assure you....they don't. That's just a tidbit of info that may have been over looked because the benefits were not explained to you. Again thank you for sharing with us and we will take this vital information to grow from it. Thanks again and make it a great day!

“Tour As Promised, A Bit Long Winded”
Reviewed 30 April 2014 via mobile

First, I think this tour (Pawn Stars VIP) delivered on everything it promised. Even though our tour guide Ivan did not guarantee we would see stars, we still saw a bunch! It was great to visit the spots of our favorite shows and even a few extra places since Jeremy's (sports expert from Pawn Stars) shop is next to the Toy Shop. The reason I did not give this five stars was because I felt like it was a bit unorganized at each stop. It would've been better if Ivan would have said "meet me back at the bus in 'x' minutes" instead of letting people run free and trying to round them up. We almost missed going to ATM because of this. Other than that small hiccup, this tour is highly recommended.
