“Short walk to monorail”
Reviewed 31 January 2012

Stayed for week. Room was a suite with full living room and kitchen. Bed was very comfortable. No restautants in this hotel so either plan on eating elsewhere or get morning sandwich from hotel deli/store. Concerge and hotel staff extremely helpful and Friendly. We took monorail to strip it was right next store at the Vegas Hotel which has a great buffet for breakfast.Plenty of parking and very easy to get to highways and to airport(4 miles straight shot).

For several years I have worked an annual industry trade show in Las Vegas, and for the last three years I have spent the week at this property, which is a 7 minute walk to the convention center. The one bedroom units are clean, quiet and good sized, and it is great to have some room to relax in after a day on my feet. There is also a good sized Jacuzzi tub to soak in, and the beds are comfortable. The suites come with a complete kitchen with utensils, serving plates and cookware with dishes for four and there is an Albertson’s Market less than a mile away. (East on Karen Ave to S Maryland Parkway, located in the plaza on your right) I will usually cook several meals in the suite rather than fight the crowds, and breakfast without having to get dressed is always nice. There are also a couple of gas grills in the pool area to grill on. My total food cost for the week was just over $100.00 because I like to cook, but the restaurants and casino at the LVH property are less than a three minute walk if you are in the mood for more activity, unlike the Vacation Club on Las Vegas Blvd which is somewhat isolated. There is also a monorail stop in the LVH which can get you to the busy part of the strip for $5.00. I highly recommend this property if you are looking for a quiet, comfortable place to stay while needing access to the convention center..

Room Tip: Ask for an east facing room with a view of the golf course. he sunrises are spectacular (if you are...

Ver clean rooms. Nice, friendly staff. Good pool, nice gym. Free wi-fi, that works exceptionally well. $99.00 per night, just off the strip, but the monorail stop is within walking distance. There is a little shop/grill on the first floor that opens at about 6:45 every morning. They charge hotel prices on most items. There is a CVS pharmacy about 2 miles away, not walking distance though.

The only things that seem to be issues is maintenance. Unfortunately, there was a problem with the hot water. Ie, there wasn't a lot of it, at any time of the day. Repeated calls did not resolve the issue, and alternate accommodations were not offered.

Overall, I would stay here again...probably.

This is an all suites hotel. Recently renovated.

We got a one bedroom suite, It had a big bathtube, a shower, a very big bathroom a fully equiped kitchen (Oven, Microwave, dishwasher, dishes, glasses, big fridge, etc).

The bedroom had a kingsize bed and in the living room there was a sofa bed, two 32inches lcd tvs and bluray players were available in the room.

All carpets and furniture were new and smelled like new, I really think this hotel was our best option.

It has a pool, not to big but is enough, not used by ourselves, it was cold outside. The staff was very helpful and polite. You dont get bored at this hotel, woth BBQ grills in the courtyard, and a games room.

Not a casino here, but there are a lot in the strip.

I recommend it as one of the best hotel I have ever been.

I had made a reservation for a 1 night stay here Sunday Night into MLK Jr. Day at the last minute when i had got into town. Great rate too after the AAA discount. I had requested a room on a high floor and away from the elevator when i had checked in, and they accommodated that request. Got a 15th floor room overlooking the eastern part of the Valley. The room was larger than i was expecting, the bathroom, while a little small, did its job, so i had no problem with the size. The free parking is a huge plus and well lit at night. I think what stands out for me and others is, the location in relation to the strip, while off of the strip, you are not far from the action if you desire to go there. I generally dont as i've seen it enough, and this was a visit to see friends and family who live in the area. If you want to be close, but not right on the strip. I think this is the place for you. I'll most definitely stay here again when i need a hotel in Las Vegas.

After we discovered the HGV, we continue to return here on every trip to Vegas. We love the King Suite with jetted tub, kitchen, large comfortable living area and washing machine and drier. Lovely pool/hot tub area as well a small but adequately stocked shop where you can purchase a light meal. Just a block off the strip so peaceful but still within easy reach of all the entertainment Vegas has to offer
