“Very comfortable”
Reviewed 26 July 2012

This is our 2nd stay at a HGVC in Las Vegas. We were so pleased to get this on exchange because of our previous experience with the property next to the Stratosphere on the Strip.

We came in at 2am after a drive in from LA, got checked in within minutes and a bellman appeared instantly to help us with our bags. We were on the 15th floor with a golf course view.

We had a 2 bedroom suite - one room was adjoining. The room was very comfortable for our family of 6. 2 king beds and 2 fold out sofas available. LG TVs with DVD players in the living area and adjoining bedroom. TV in the suite bedroom. Kitchen was small, yet equipped with what you need. Full size fridge with ice maker, stove/oven, microwave, blender, toaster, dishwasher, pot, pan, plates, etc. Bathroom on suite side was spacious with a shower inside the bathroom, jacuzzi between the bathroom and bedroom. Bathroom in adjoining room was small. Regular tub and shower in there.

Parking was free, Internet wifi was free.

There's a small store and deli with good hours downstairs. Reasonably priced.

Pool was on the small side but wasn't overcrowded so it was a nice, relaxing place for the kids to take a dip. Closed at 10pm.

The property is located by the Convention Center, next to the LVH hotel, in the back of the Sahara hotel, which is now closed. Not a lot nearby, within walking distance, which was GREAT for us because we were not into crowds, smoke or gaming but it is something to be aware of if you are. We also had a car.

All in all, another great experience at this HGVC property in Las Vegas. They also purchased the Planet Hollywood property right in the middle of the strip so that is another we'll hopefully try for on the next visit.

I love this hotel in Vegas. No casino! Not on the strip! Yeah! It's quiet and the suite rooms have everything. If you're going to Vegas for business or for other than gambling/partying, this is a great option. Best if you have a rental car to get around, although it is on the monorail. The pool is small, but nicely appointed with an outdoor bar. The hotel has no restaurant so you either have to eat out or can prepare your own dinner in the kitchenette which is fully furnished. The Albertson's supermarket is nearby.

The key: Get one of the upgraded suites with a huge hot tub in it. Divine. Huge bathroom. Good internet speeds.

If you want to party and walk up and down the strip, this is not the hotel for you. No room service either.

Absolutely blown away at the room! We had a 1Bedroom suite with Jacuzzi, full kitchen with cool black appliances, 2 TV's which is great with kids, and a fantastic view of the stratosphere tower. Hotel is a 5 min walk to LVH monorail terminal...staff super helpful and friendly......only wish they had bell serrvices or atleast luggage racks available. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

We recently spent a week at this hotel in Las Vegas, a city that we enjoy visiting but are often hesitant because we don't want to spend our nights listening to rowdy drunks and partyers in the adjoining hallways and guestrooms. The Hilton Grand Vacation Suites was the answer to all of our concerns. The facility is very clean, the rooms are large and well appointed, there is no casino or bars on the property so the party crowd tends to stay elsewhere. It is off the strip, which also helps, but is just a five minute walk from the Las Vegas Hilton (now the LVH hotel and casino) monorail station. Also, NO resort fees, free in room internet access and free covered parking. This place is the best place to stay in Vegas and we will always be staying there on return trips. The rates are extremely reasonable also...we paid about $100 per night for a July trip.

Room Tip: One bedroom suites have a full kitchen, another plus which helps defray the cost of always having to...

As HH members we were offered a promotion for $ 200 for a studio for 3 nights at this property, which is obviously a good deal. After a long 2 stage flight from the east coast and a glitchy car rental transaction, we got here at past 11.30 pm tired and hungry so the somewhat curt and stiff front desk clerk and her female colleague who checked us in was a little putting off, but thereafter everything was great about this stay. The room was typical high quality Hilton Vacation, the services were unobtrusive and efficient, the view (the Stratosphere Tower) was spectacular, and the parking just outside the tower was convenient. We did not buy into their vacation plan this time around, but based on this experience, we will positively consider it for future purchase. ,

Room Tip: Ask for rooms with view of the Stratosphere.. amazing at night

We arrived late did not make a difference, the staff was alert and pleasant, our suite surprised us ,it was great,! We had everything we needed but the food for a long stay(seven days). Sorry it was easy to get to The Target and The Walmart! The concierge did outstanding in directing us to good food sweet shows and fab shopping without a lot of payment, that's the part we loved.

First of Hilton, you Need to rename your properties, three locations with the same name is very confusing. Cab drivers didn't have a clue where it was without the street address.

That being said, the staff was noticeable as outstanding from the minute you walked in. The bellman was above and beyond! The front desk staff excellent, and the deli staff was just as good.

I thought the rooms were pretty average. Very clean, a little small. I had to be moved on the second night because of noise in an adjoining room, but the hotel moved quickly and graciously.

Location was my only negative. It's more than a 'little off the strip'
