This hotel was such a great surprise!
Not everyone that goes to Vegas, wants to stay in a hotel surrounded by gambling, smoke and noise. I attended an industry conference at the convention center and need a hotel close by. I found the "Hilton Grand Vacation Suites" just down the street. What a pleasant surprise to walk in and be able to walk straight up to the check in counter and not have to navigate my way through hundreds of slot machines to get to my room. (Just so you are aware, I didn't see any gambling at this location, so if you are looking for slots or tables this is probably not the right place for you. There is gambling at the hotel next door.)

The staff were wonderful and helpful all three days I was there. I had a two bedroom suite (upgrade with gold status) that was very large. My first impression was "WOW, very nice!" It was very clean and had nice furnishings. The bed slept well with plenty of pillows which I love. I was on the 4th floor, east side, and it was very quiet. The suite featured a fully furnished kitchen, as well as a clothes washer and dryer. The exercise facilities were sufficient and well stocked with towels and water.

Cons - There isn't an onsite restaurant. They do have a small deli style convenient store which was fine for snacks, but I did have to go elsewhere for meals. This wasn't so bad because I was always somewhere else during mealtimes anyway.

Over all this was a great place to stay, and I will absolutely stay here again when attending a conference in Las Vegas.

The hotel is very good quality. Quiet location off the strip, but still convenient to everything. Despite it being a Hilton, the front desk staff claims that they're exempt from offering any special treatment/bonus for Hilton HHonors members. Also, note that since the formerly Las Vegas Hilton (now LVH) across the parking lot is no longer a Hilton, you can't charge meals there to your room at this HGV any more.

Pool was unusable. My child, was looking forward to the play in the pool. It is very disappointing. Though it is a family of four, bet there is only a single.Reluctantly, children slept on the sofa. Since there is no restaurant in the vicinity of the hotel.

Hello and thank you for your feedback. I apologize that our pool was closed during your stay. To improve our guest experience better, we are renovating our pool area. Please know that we picked the slowest months of the year to work on this project. For guest that wanted to use a pool, we were sending them to our sister property on the strip. Not sure if you personally booked your reservation or went through a travel agent, none of our rooms have double beds and our website states that. All of our rooms do of course have a pull out sofa bed. None of our properties in Las Vegas have a restaurant, but we do offer a deli with several options of grab and go items. I hope this information helps when booking your next reservation in Las Vegas.

Thank you,
Jessica Dupont

We exchanged a timeshare for a week at this resort in December 2013. We booked a 2 bedroom suite with full kitchen and soaker tub. The place was very spacious clean well maintained. The staff was great. We have 2 kids they thoroughly enjoyed the space and we had our own private space to enjoy. The weather was beautiful during the day, got down to 3-5 degrees Celsius at night not bad since we are from canada. We had rented a car which is a must with kids and saving money! We visited Hoover dam, prim valley outlets, Mandalay bay shark reef, MGM rainforest cafe, Venetian shops gondola (best, clean hotel on the strip). There is a great Indian restaurant on paradise road called original tandoori, a must visit. Generally cheaper to eat off strip lots of selection, there are many shops, plazas near the hotel. We tried one buffet wicked spoon at cosmopolitan, it was ok best part was salad bar. Very pricy though. This was one of the best trips we had and kids loved it. Of course downside is all the smoke in some of the older hotels which are bit very we'll maintained such as Paris, Luxor, mirage, treasure island.

Lastly we prefer a resort off the strip, it's peaceful and has a resort feel. We were on the top 17 floor and had a great view of nor end of strip.

Room Tip: Go high with a view of strip.

We wanted to be able to cook our meals while visiting Vegas and Hilton Grand Vacations Suites - Las Vegas (Convention Center) enabled us to do just that. My family stayed at a one bedroom suite. The suite had a fully equipped kitchen: saucepans, silverware, blender, can opener, wine glasses, plates, oven, dishwasher and much more. The suite also came with a washer and dryer. We didn't even use the laundry detergent we took to Vegas. The suite had everything a family would have back at home so we were able to save a lot of money by having a vacation in Vegas just as if we were staying at our own home. The pull-out sofa bed in the living was very comfortable. It was a queen-sized bed. The staff was also friendly.
