“Great value near Strip”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 May 2014

Stayed at the Hilton Grand Vacations Suites a year ago and loved the hotel but hated the timeshare solicitation. This year we checked in for 4 nights and not once did someone try to convince us to take a timeshare tour. Thank you Hilton! This hotel is great for the Las Vegas visitor who wants to be near the action, but far enough away to escape the noise and the crowds. We stayed in a one bedroom suite with full kitchen. The rooms are spacious and spotless. The housekeeping staff did a great job of daily cleaning and always greeted us in the hallways. No restaurant here, but a small store off the lobby where all of the necessities, as well as beer, wine, salads, sandwiches and pizza (not to mention Starbucks) could be purchased. The complimentary wifi was great and documents could be remotely sent to a secure printer in the business center from your own device. Only a couple of computers are available in the business center and these seemed to be always in use by other guests, but the wireless printing made computer availability less important. After the hustle and bustle of the Strip, it was nice to have somewhere quiet to come home to.

Room Tip: High rooms on the back have views of holes 16-18 at the Las Vegas Country Club.

We were intending on staying at one of the many on-strip casino hotels since they have all sorts of deals via Southwest Vacations or Vegas.com. With further research, it was surprising that most of these places have a mandatory daily resort fees. If it's mandatory, why not listed as part of the room price? And if the explanation is that these are additional features that are not related to the room rate, then why are they mandatory?

Although we've been Hilton Honor members, we were not familiar with the Grand Vacations Suites concept. After reading some of the existing reviews, we were wary with the high-pressured sale pitches.

There were NONE besides a low-key offer when we talked with the concierge about dinner plan the first night. Otherwise we were left alone.

The one bedroom suite was spacious and comfortable. The non-gaming and non-smoking hotel was a very nice change compared to the rest of the Strip. Having a full-on kitchen was a good way to save money in this expensive desert oasis. The closeness to the Strip and the monorail made getting around very easy.

Front desk, maintenance and housekeeping staff are courteous and friendly. We will be staying here again when we go back to Vegas.

Just returned from an 11 night stay at the above property. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and made us feel extremely welcome. Our 1 bed suite was very well appointed and clean including a large Jacuzzi bath and a full kitchen. The pool area was a tranquil oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the Strip yet close to the Monorail which provided easy access to it. The deli was very convenient for basic provisions and light meals. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning

My stay at the Hilton Grand Vacations in Las Vegas was very relaxing and enjoyable. If you're ever in the Las Vegas area I would highly recommend staying at a Hilton location because they're the best in quality and service.

We only stay at this hotel for one night on our last day on vacation to Vegas and Grand Canyon on April 2014 and I was really surprised how luxurious and very nice hotel this turn out to be since we only paid about $95.00 for the night and the price is really great for the room/studio bedroom that they gave us and it was really nice and clean. The location is a little far from all the action from Vegas so you need to have a car or take a short taxi ride to the strip, they don't have a restaurant at the hotel and we felt really secure and private at this location since is off the strip and is really quiet at night. We would recommend this hotel if you are looking for a quiet , out the way and far from the noisy Vegas strip and very good value for the money. They don't charge extra for Wi-Fi like many hotels on the strip do.

I booked the Hilton Grand Vacation Suites for a major trade show. I was a little concerned about the remote location. I purchased a 4 day pass for the LV Monorail and used it every day. The walk to the station was not bad and the weather was mild. The hotel is super clean and well cared for. A little too cold that week to use the pool. No real dining options nearby. I ordered dinner in one night and walked over to LVH buffet for 2 other nights. Downstairs cafe has light breakfast and snack otprions. But rooms have fridge, MW and small cooktop. A good economical stay with. No smoking and no gambling and no bar make it a quiet retreat.

Clean/friendly staff/fantastic rooms...we have a suite on the 16th floor/strongwifi/comfy beds/large jacuzzi tub in the bedroom.
Off the strip...thank goodness. On the strip it is a zoo.
Very nice pool with an outside bar.
Booked online for just 80 a night.
