We have visited Vegas more than a dozen times but this was our first and last visit to the Sky Suites. We thought we would try it as we needed a separate living / bedroom since we took our baby.
The limo on arrival was nice and had a car seat as requested and check in was hassle free and pleasant.
Our room was underwhelming, and like other reviewers, we were given the bottom level floor (25) when we thought we were getting a big high room. It was no different to any other standard one bed hotel room. Windows were dirty and half covered with stripes. The view of the driveway was not impressive either.
Housekeeping didn't come the first day. We went out at 10am when our baby woke and went out til 2.30pm and they hadn't been. We needed her to sleep in the cot so had to put 'privacy' sign up but no one called or messaged to see if we wanted our room cleaned or towels.
Instead on day 2 we had someone come in at 9.15pm to do turn down!!!! We were almost in bed and the baby fast asleep. This is not acceptable!
The TV in the bathroom didn't work which was disappointing because the spa was lovely.
On our way home we requested late checkout so the baby could have a little nap before the limo took us to the airport at 2.30pm. We were told that we would have to pay another half a nights tariff to stay til 2pm, quite rudely at that.
When we did check out, we called the bellman for help at 1pm - should be a quiet time between general check out and check ins but it took 3 phone calls and 45 mins for someone to come up. When he did, he asked us how we enjoyed our stay. We said it wasn't that good, he replied "oh ok, so where are you heading home to?".... So disinterested!!
The restaurants on the other hand were wonderful and the staff lovely and very friendly and accommodating. Javier's we went to twice and the Cafe each morning for breakfast.
If you choose to stay, just get a standard room and enjoy the restaurants and pool that way you won't be disappointed with the lack of value for money like we were.
Bellagio, we are sorry we didn't come back to you. Bellagio can't be beaten!
