Amazing stay. Check-in was a breeze and Stephanie was so amazing. Room was clean and bed was oh so comfortable. Will be going back!! Stayed in tower 1 (of 3 towers) kids/family pool and adult pool. Starbucks everywhere, which is great bc no matter the time of day there is always a line for it in Vegas.

Heard this sales pitch 4 Wyndham in July. Was able to get a room thru a friend in Sept. Soon as they find out you're not a time share holder, the BARRAGE of pitches begins. It's NONSTOP. Enough already. They strategically ask you uncomfortable questions to try and gauge if they should offer u free stuff to listen to this 4-hr pitch to buy. i've done this a few times and it's AWFUL. Air BnB's must be ruining business. This time share fiasco is out of control. Wyndham is a nice place, but it's sad there's so much focus on trying to shove timeshares down our throats.

Had a great stay at the Desert Grand. It is only a few blocks to the strip and we love to walk. The property was clean, safe, and the staff friendly, efficient, and professional. Our room was neat clean and everything in working order.

Room Tip: We were lucky to get a room facing the strip, other rooms face the large courtyard with the pool area.

Last month, 8 women converged on the city of Las Vegas for a bachelorette party for my baby sister. We all had one goal in mind, to live it up for 3 days straight! And that we accomplished! One of the best decisions we made that weekend (amongst less questionable ones, lol) was our choice to stay at the Wyndam Grand Dessert resort. I refuse to call this establishment a "hotel" because it absolutely was an amazing resort. It was much larger than expected with multiple, well maintained, swimming pools, jacuzzis, and lounge areas. One of the best parts about the amenities was that it had an outdoor swimming area dedicated to adults only, complete with cabanas and tiki bar. The staff was refreshingly engaged and friendly.

There was a free wine reception nightly, which was a pleasant surprise. As I mentioned earlier, there was 8 of us ladies and we all fit comfortably in a 2-bedroom condo. Accommodations of this size is rare for Las Vegas. The condo offered a full kitchen, laundry and 2 full bathrooms. So, you got the best of both worlds, a lot of space and amenities like a vacation home would offer but with the luxury and convenience of resort living.

The only constructive criticism I would offer is that with condo living, we did not get daily room cleaning. That cost extra but we were fine picking up after ourselves. Also, we requested a late check-out and was told we would be given one but we would be charged like $100 do have an additional 1 hour. We decided against that. With that being said, we did check out at our normal time. Since our plane did not leave till 10pm that night, we still had an entire day of exploring to do. The hotel was gracious enough to hold all of our luggage while we toured the strip. They also extended the use of the entire resort to us for the rest of the day. That put the icing on the cake for us. Not many establishments offer that kind of hospitality these days.

This truly was one of the best trips that we had ever had, due in large part to selecting this resort to stay in while in Vegas. And if you are concerned that this resort is off of the Las Vegas strip, don't be! It is located right down the street (walking distance) from the Hard Rock Cafe, which offers famous gambling and activities. This resort also runs a shuttle every 30 minutes which takes you the few blocks away to the Harrah's Casino in the middle of the Las Vegas strip for free!

Last but not least, we

The hotel was like being at home. All the emenities at one place. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. I was really impressed with the shuttle bus that ran back and forth to the strip all day.
