I liked this resort. The bed was super comfy and the pool was awesome! If you can get past this being a timeshare I would recommend staying here. I liked the little apartment feel to it. I had a good time here.

We booked our first nights in LV for our yearly trip through the Southwest USA at this resort. The resort is located at South LV Boulevard, about 2-3 miles south of the airport and the last big "Strip" hotels such as the Luxor and Mandalay Bay. We enjoyed the fact that we were away from the big buzz of the strip and were able to relax after our long flight into LV. I guess this makes this property ideal for families as well as shoppers as the LV Premium Outlets South are located just about 3/4 of a mile to the north. The property has a large pool area, an Aztec pyramid covering a jacuzzi tub, two pool bars, mini golf (at no charge) and many other nice add ons to make you stay more enjoyable. Compared to many other resorts the pool area is on the large side which makes it actually enjoyable unlike the small pools you find at most of the resorts and hotels in LV. We used it every day before or after breakfast to get us started into our day.
Now a little bit of information about the rooms. Being a timeshare the units are equipped with kitchens, a balcony, a living room area and a beedrom. The unit we got assigned to in one of the two southern buildings were nicely furnished and clean. The units are not up to the Diamond standard yet (Diamond Resorts Intl. being the owner and operator of this resort at the time I am writing this review) but they are much better than what you can find at other timeshare resorts in LV.
The property was clean, well kept and the pool area was clean as well - something I'm very picky about. Staff at check-in was very friendly. I will definitely come back!

Our room was infested with bugs, my kids, husband, and I all had bug bites. When advising the manager Jason and Mr. Morgan, they stated they couldn't move us to another room as the property was full, and so were the other sister properties. They didn't refund us our money, which was over $550 for a two night stay. Also, the safety you feel being at the other hotels on the strip isn't what you get here, very slimy people. Don't let the pools and the slides fool you, it isn't clear by far, and the slides close down at 6pm. The room was very dirty, hadn't been dusted, floors not vacuumed, nor were the tiles cleaned. Save your money and stay at one of the luxurious hotels on the strip, you will spend the same or less.

We are truly and sincerely sorry that your stay here at Cancun Resort did not meet your expectations or ours. It was very concerning for us to read that your accommodations had bedbugs. Our maintenance team oversees an aggressive pest-control program here in order to protect our gests against these types of problems. We have regular inspections for bedbugs throughout the resort, and want to assure you and your family that this was an isolated incident here at Cancun, and that our resort will continue to monitor this situation so that our guests can be assured that this will not be an issue going forward. Typically, non-refundable reservations would not get a credit to return because of it being non-refundable. However, our guests have an option of booking refundable reservations that if cancelled within 48 hours can be refunded. We encourage you to contact us should you wish to discuss your reservation in further detail. If you are willing to give us another chance, we are extremely confident that your next stay will be much more enjoyable and even exceed your expectations. We sincerely appreciate your business with us and wish you the best on all your future travels.

This property is located away from 'the strip' which is great. The property does not have a casino and is very family oriented. The swimming pools are great. The only problem is the staff, room service, bell people, etc. do not speak English. The front desk staff do speak English, however we found ourselves having to interact with the room service, and housekeeping staff and there was great difficulty communicating. We had a 1 bedroom villa, complete with kitchen, dining room and living room which a sofa that converted to sleeping. When we arrived there was no bedding at all for the sofa bed and it took quite a long time to have bedding sent up to our accommodations. All in all I feel the staff could have been more customer service oriented.

Room Tip: Our room was a good walk to the main lobby....If you have trouble walking I would recommend a villa...

Being from the east coast I am waking very early and would like to have the WiFi in my room. On the early morning of the 17th WiFi was working great. Still here and no WiFi since then in my room. Have asked and asked about it. Have to go to main lobby for decent signal.

In a nutshell, having a kitchen in the room and the awesome water slides made up for the very average accommodations. Another nice feature was the game room: two quality pool tables and a quality ping pong table, as well as a TV for mom and dad to watch while they are waiting for the kids.

It's hard to put my thumb on it, but this place just lacks something. Not sure if the architecture/design just missed the mark, but something seems odd about this place. Our room was clean, but it seemed a bit run down and tired.

All in all, I would stay there again due to the great rates and the kid stuff that I already mentioned.

My kids & I stayed at the Cancun Resort for a week, and we had a great time! We pretty much just hung out in our 2-bedroom villa watching movies, or played in the 2 large pools, one of which had a couple of cool tube-waterslides!

The sales staff (perpetually trying to sell you the timeshare) can be a little heavy-handed at times, but if you’re not interested and just stick to your guns with a firm, “No Thanks,” they’ll get the hint.

Even though this resort isn’t in the heart of the strip, it’s less than 5 miles from the action and I actually like the location. You have quick access to I-15 and the 215 freeway. There’s a Food 4 Less right across the street, perfect for stocking the kitchen that came with the room, so you can make some meals when you're not in the mood for dining out. Our room had a balcony which gave us a great view of the Strip at night. There’s also plenty of parking, some of it underground.

There is no daily housekeeping, but during a week's stay, they do service your villa once.

There is a $10.00 Resort Fee per night.

WiFi is available for a fee.
