The Desert Paradise is a great property if you're looking for a quiet relaxing vacation. We have a clean, 2 bedroom/bath 2nd floor unit with a full kitchen and washer/dryer. We aren't aware of neighbors, no thumps, tv sounds, voices, etc., which is an important factor for us. The adult pool is quiet and relaxing. Comfortable furniture, beds and towels. There's a shuttle to the strip and back that runs pretty frequently with very personable drivers, just don't forget to sign up. I'd recommend this property to anyone who's not coming to Vegas to party.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit May 31- June 7.
The unit was 124 in building 6. The location was in a corner and although up against the road, it was a quiet area with plenty of covered parking. We were on the bottom floor and we could hear a lot of noise from the top floor.
Everything about this place was pretty good EXCEPT for the cleanliness of the unit. The walls had splatter marks all over them, the furniture was stained, the carpet had stuff in the corners (not sure if ever the place has been deep cleaned), fridge had drip marks all over it etc. The patio is covered and had a nice patio table and 4 chairs but again, the railing was filthy. Attached are some photos. After scrubbing the walls, we felt more comfortable and started to enjoy our getaway.
Aside from this issue, the unit was big, plenty of towels and pool towels, great pots and pans and even a cookie sheet and glass pan to bake with, nice washer and dryer.
There is a pool table in the game room and both the family pool and adult pool were enjoyable. There are also BBQ grills near the adult pool which were clean . All of the staff that we encountered were very friendly. Yes, we would stay here again but we hope that management spends a little more time on making sure the rooms have been throughly clean.

Stayed here with family and friends. Got a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom that also had a pullout couch. We stayed in room 249, it had a huge balcony with patio table and chairs which was nice to sit and have some drinks and chat.

The room had a dining table as well. Fridge, stove, microwave and Everything you needed to cook with (pots, pans, utensils, cups plates) Even a blender. Room also had a dishwasher with soap to use and in suite laundry (soap provided as well).

Bedrooms also had big walk-in closets with a dresser.

Basically you get your own little apartment! The resort also offers a free shuttle to select hotels. They have a family pool area and a adult pool area as well.

We regularly stay in Diamond resorts 2-3 times per year) and this has all the characteristics we come to expect - particularly in US locations. Spacious, full kitchen, washer/dryer etc.

There are two pools (one adult only) are not huge but weren’t busy.

Reception is available 24hrs - friendly, although they did call the room phone 9am the day after we had arrived very late after a transatlantic flight to offer us the chance to attend a selling of Diamond timeshare ‘opportunities’ (in exchange for $ if we sat through it) - they weren’t too pushy in offering us to attend the sell, but being a bit more mindful of travel times/jet lag wouldn’t be a bad idea - a memo would suffice. (we declined the sell but on previous experience these say 2 hours but never are only 2 hours, they’re tag team salesmen, quite hard sell and take ages to process the $).

Location is good if you have a car - we did - short <10 min drive to the strip so good base. Seven-eleven nearby.

My only issue of note was the very loud external noises - it’s pretty close to a busy road so we had 2-3 police siren wake ups in the night. There is also construction nearby that at times worked through the night.... and what sounded like bin lorries nearby were almost a daily 6am wake up. We asked to move to an apartment further from our side of the complex but they couldn’t accommodate due to full occupancy which is fine. This wasn’t such a problem for us as we easily got back to sleep but it may be worth requesting a quiet part of the complex prior to arrival if you aren’t good sleepers... previous Diamond Resorts locations have been good at matching our expressed needs when we have been repeat visitors and have asked for specific locations on a site.

I do like Diamond and this worked well for us.

Desert Paradise is a great condo. Amenities are great. Very relaxing condo location that is close to the strip but not noisy loke those on the strip. Recommend it if you want a relaxing but nice place to stay in Vegas.
