Owner description: Rock of Ages, the "insanely fun" (Time Out New York) worldwide smash hit musical featuring a raucous mix of 28 eyebrow-scorching tunes, is now rocking nightly at The Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino. Set in L.A.'s infamous Sunset Strip in 1987, Rock of Ages tells the story of Drew, a boy from South Detroit and Sherrie, a small-town girl, both in L.A. to chase their dreams of making it big and falling in love. Rock of Ages takes you back to the times of big bands with big egos playing big guitar solos and sporting even bigger hair! This hilarious, feel-good love story celebrates the great rock songs of the '80s including such sing-out-loud songs as "Every Rose Has Its Thorn," "I Wanna Know What Love Is", "Here I Go Again", "Don't Stop Believin'", and more. Parental Advisory Rock of Ages is all about having a good time but you should be aware that some of the costumes, dancing and language might not be appropriate for kids under the age of 14 (kids under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult). Remember, if you do bring them, they'll get to see you rockin' like you did back in the day! AGE LIMIT Under 14 Must Be Accompanied By An Adult Under 5 Will Not Be Admitted Into The Theatre

“Love the music, great sound!!”

I just saw the show. You won't be disappointed with the music, although its not exactly as the movie, so take that in consideration.

I thought the sound was incredible. Loud as it should be for a rock and roll party.

They have a 6 minute intermission and only that.

At the end, excited guests danced throughout the last song.

I only think price is high for a show like that. In nyc its probably cheaper. I paid more than 100 to stay on level 2.

Overall it was fun and a great entertainment.

“Save your money and see another show”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 October 2013

Very disappointed with the show. To much emphasis on sexual innuendo and an incomprehensible story line and know real depth in the characters. No a patch on on other musicals that we have seen. It is the first time we left half way through a show and we were not alone at least 1/4 of the audience went with us.
Not worth the money that we paid.

“Wild and Crazy!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 October 2013

If you are into or can remember the music of the 80's, this is a really fun evening for ADULTS. No one under 21 is allowed because of some of the humor, but the show is excellent entertainment with surprises all the way through. The cast is great and extremely talented. It was a Broadway play, but Las Vegas has absorbed all the fun to turn it into a great night of fun and music!!!

“Broken cd”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 October 2013 via mobile

The last 10 minutes of this show is the best IF you last to the end. I am a metal/rock fan from the era of this show however its like listening to a broken cd. They start a song, you just start enjoying it then it stops and the actors start talking sexualized drivle for 5 minutes. The next song starts and again your foot starts tapping only for it to stop again like a broken cd. This gets very annoying. The story line is terrible with cheap sexy jokes. If only they had played all the songs all the way through to the end like the last song at the end, this show would be a sucess.
