Owner description: Rock of Ages, the "insanely fun" (Time Out New York) worldwide smash hit musical featuring a raucous mix of 28 eyebrow-scorching tunes, is now rocking nightly at The Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino. Set in L.A.'s infamous Sunset Strip in 1987, Rock of Ages tells the story of Drew, a boy from South Detroit and Sherrie, a small-town girl, both in L.A. to chase their dreams of making it big and falling in love. Rock of Ages takes you back to the times of big bands with big egos playing big guitar solos and sporting even bigger hair! This hilarious, feel-good love story celebrates the great rock songs of the '80s including such sing-out-loud songs as "Every Rose Has Its Thorn," "I Wanna Know What Love Is", "Here I Go Again", "Don't Stop Believin'", and more. Parental Advisory Rock of Ages is all about having a good time but you should be aware that some of the costumes, dancing and language might not be appropriate for kids under the age of 14 (kids under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult). Remember, if you do bring them, they'll get to see you rockin' like you did back in the day! AGE LIMIT Under 14 Must Be Accompanied By An Adult Under 5 Will Not Be Admitted Into The Theatre

“Rock your socks off”

If you love 80's Rock this is a must, playing at The Venetian loved we the show. Cast were brilliant. Got discounted tickets from The Tix kiosk on the Strip. Worth every penny. Don't forget to use your show ticket for a free drink in the Bourbon Rooms after the show which is just as entertaining.

“Very entertaining from start to finish”
Reviewed 1 August 2014

The music was great, the script very well written, and the vocals were excellent.
Definitely one show where you don't fall asleep, even if you are dead tired.

“Great music! OK story.”
Reviewed 30 July 2014

I found the story line to be a little weak, and sometimes a little incohesive. The music was great, and the lead actor's voice was amazing. Overall, I'd recommend this to any 80's rock fan.

“Relive the 80s”
Reviewed 29 July 2014

If you are a fan of the hair bands, you cannot miss this show. I had seen the movie version and absolutely loved it. Within the confines of a live stage, this production was really well done. The music was great.

“I wanna rock!”
Reviewed 29 July 2014

If you hate everything else, you will hate this, so just don't go. If you were alive and breathing in the 80's, and have any memory at all of the raunchy glam rock...RUN to this show. We sat up front in rock star seating complete with zebra print on the chairs. Use your led "Bic" lighter to sway along with the ballads. Buy Mickey's big Mouths and Pop Rocks at intermission...The singing is superb, the acting is great. A memorable evening to be sure!
