The guestrooms are not 5 star! Our room on the 58th floor was very average and did not even come close to the standard set by the Venetian. The rooms in the Golden Nugget's new Rush Tower are much nicer for only $69 per night. The front desk did not even want to listen to my disappointment unless I was willing to pay an additional $200-$300 per night. I submitted my satisfaction survey and asked for someone from the Wynn resort to contact me regarding my concerns during our stay. That was a week ago and I am still waiting for anyone to contact me!

My husband and I stayed at Wynns from 28th June for 10 days. I have stayed in 5 star hotels in Egypt, Abu Dhabi and Dubai and this hotel is the best I have stayed in. This is the 5th time we have been to Las Vegas and if I go back this is the hotel I will be going back to.

All the staff were amazing and could not do enough for you. Nothing you asked for was a problem.

We were in a panoramic view room on the 58th floor overlooking the strip. The rooms were amazing and kept spotlessly clean. As in previous reviews the bed was the most comfortable bed I have slept in. We charged all our expenses - meals drinks etc - to our room. On the television you can check what has been charged to your room at anytime day or night. Any charges appears immediately so you can query any charges that you don't agree with - not that we had any. As for noise from the hotel, discos etc we did not hear anything and my husband is a light sleeper. The bathroom was huge with 2 sinks and the most powerful shower I have ever showered in. Again it was kept spotless and clean. Don't take shampoo and conditioner with you as the ones the hotel supply are fantastic. This is the first hotel I have ever been in where I have been able to use them. The shower gel wasn't so good.

As in previous reports the restaurants are expensive but you expect that from a 5 star hotel. The buffet is $40 and is good especially if you like seafood. Across the road in the shopping mall there is a food court with lots of food outlets. Anything from chinese, italian, subway and KFC etc. which is good if you don't feel up to eating a huge meal. You can also get breakfast in some of them.

The pool is good and also kept very clean. My only problem was that there was not a lot of shade. Always plenty of sunbeds and plenty of lovely females walking around to get you drinks if you required them.

We went to Le Reve show in the hotel. It was brilliant and one of the best shows I have ever seen. Also went to Mystere in Treasure Island which was good but not as good as Le Reve.

Would I go back to this hotel - most definitely.

The rules for this hotel are unclear.Having been told at reception that 400dollars were required as a deposit I just paid. The next day I was told that the $15 required for the gym could not be charged to my room. The same applies for the restaurant and bars.Having complained to the manager about this I was told that she would allow this to be charged to my room. All the reviews on night club noise are correct and we were upgraded to a tower suite when we asked the assistant manager for a refund. he then claimed that the correct deposit was $1200 and that you could only use this for the incidentals. The average person cant possibly afford this on top of the hotel bill and gambling etc,It makes you wonder what planet these people are on.One last tip if you want the free coffee at the tower suites reception be there at 7am as the guests are like animals and the coffee pots are empty within minutes.

we cant often afford to stay at the wynn when we visit vegas, but we splurged and got married at our very favorite place. what a wonderful, romantic hotel!!!! we married in the courtyard at the wedding salons and we cant say enough thank yous to all the girls in the salons for making our special day so fun. we just left everything up to them, we showed up, and they did all the work. we went to alot of other hotels in our search for wedding packages and found the wynn to be just as affordable as any other hotel, yet far more elegant. most of our guests stayed here also and they loved it. many used the pools and health club, they were happy with the ammenities and very pleased with their stay. we hope we can return every anniversary to stay and play at our favorite hotel/casino. the only thing that would have made my wedding better is if steve himself would have showed up!!!! so if you know of anybody looking for a fabulous wedding atmosphere, let them know the wynn is the place they should be!!!!

We found an excellent deal through expedia.ca so decided to stay at The Wynn.
Check-in was ok. There were plenty of people at registration to check people in but not one line-up, just a free for all. The person at registration just took anyone out of order. Therefore, people who arrived after us checked -in before us.
We were on the 37th floor in the Resort Tower. The room was fantastic. Flat screen TV. Bed so comfortable. Large room with great view. The bathroom was lovely with TV in the bathroom. It was an excellent room and tastefully decorated. The 2 pools were also nice. The hotel was extremely clean.
The only thing we found pricey was the Wynn's buffet breakfast. It was $20 for the buffet. Plus an extra $5 if you wanted a latte. The choice of food was nothing spectacular. We expected more choice. The next morning we took a 10 min walk over to Treasure Island and had their breakfast buffet for $15 which included speciality coffees and there was more choice of food and it was a nicer buffet by far.
WiFi at The Wynn was $14 per day. We're used to it being free.
Le Reve at the Wynn was amazing. I would see it again. We had the 2nd row splash seat for $99. Well worth it. It would highly recommend it.

The good - never had a bad meal at any of the establishments we frequented on the Wynn property, but fair warning, every place is expensive.

The bad -
Biggest complaint for me was the way they issue drinks at the Sportsbook at the Wynn. It is WAY too regulated. If you don't wager enough (several hundred at a time!), you don't get a drink ticket. If you don't have a drink ticket, you don't get served a drink while watching the games. You can't pay full price to the waitresses (they only accept tickets). You have to get up and go to the bar for a drink if you don't have a ticket. Do these people even realize that there is a major recession going on in this country?! Can't a guy who is betting on the games just a get some free drinks? geez....
Other lesser complaint - The check-in people screwed up and didn't give us a handicapped accessible room. I was travelling with a handicapped companion, our reservation was booked that way, so they knew this. We had to call and change rooms, and at least they were able to do this over the phone without a key change before we got settled in.
