“best hotel we've stayed in...”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 October 2010

It was with some trepidation that I booked our last stay in Vegas at the Wynn, based on some of the criticism I had read on this forum. Some of the comments led me to believe we were going to be up all night listening to partying and carrying on. In reality, the majority of the guests at the Wynn are in the 40+ bracket and look like the Country Club set. I suspect 20 somethings wouldn't have a great time at this hotel, let alone be able to afford it!
We booked a Panaromic Deluxe and it was our best stay ever in Vegas, even better than Bellagio which I didn't think could be surpassed.
We were there to see Garth Brooks on a weekend and had a strip facing room, we didn't encounter any noise from the Tryst nightclub below, just the occasional siren from fire/ambulance. The location is superb, right across from Fashion Show Mall and Palazzo/Venetian with easy access to the strip by foot or by car.

Yes, everything about it is expensive, but you get what you pay for :)

My wife and I stayed at the Wynn for 3 nights in October. This was our second visit here as we enjoyed it very much last time. This time we went to the Buffet and "La Reve" and thought that both were great. I haven't done too many buffets in Vegas but I don't think they would be any better than this one. $38, but you get what you pay for. A little expensive but you get what you pay for.
They need to change the very slow check in process, but other than that, all was good. The updated rooms are very nice and the lighting options are very cool. Great showers and toiletries.

First let me say that Vegas is NOT my favourite place! Give me a quiet sunny beach anytime. But I guess that everyone should go at least once in their lives!!! (this was my fourth visit!).......and if you do, then be sure to book well in advance and get a great deal at Wynn's. Yes it's HUGE, but the atmosphere, decor, service and comfort give the impression of a much smaller friendlier hotel. Definitely 5 star plus plus plus. Great facilities, great views from the rooms, great rooms.....and at the 'right' end of the Strip! Oh yes....and Le Reve - their in-house show - is also very impressive.

There is nothing I can say about this hotel that was not satisfactory. It was truly amazing! From the decor of the lobby area, to the waterfalls outside and the exquisite dining and clubs. The staff were also very helpful.
Obviously no expense is spared so if you are looking to treat yourself to a little luxury, this is the place to go!

Check in was slow - 30 mins wait. You had you choose a queue rather than one queue covering all desks. The people in front were ages. Our check in was nice & quick when it was our turn and there was NO mention of the Resort Fee. I used booking.com so maybe it was included, but I thought I needed to pay it & didn't!

The room was amazing. Only on 12th floor, facing the strip, but still a good view & no night club noise. There was an occasional police siren, but only a couple of times a day. The room was a great size (Resort Room) and was not in any way shabby as some people have said.

The bathroom was enormous, with both the bath & shower easily fitting 2 people!

The staff we met were all polite - greeting us in the corridors & holding the lift doors open.

Pool was beautiful, loads of spare sunbeds. The shade does cover the whole area by 3.30 so best to do the pool earlier in the day though.

We loved the casino - plenty of penny slots which we did not expect to see at Wynn, and was the place where the waitresses came round offering drinks the most regularly.

Ate at the Buffet & lived up to expectations. Ate off site the rest of the time due to budget & we like to go out & about. Fashion Mall opposite had a good food court for casual meals, plus some nice proper restaurants too,

Yes, the Wynn is towards the end of the Strip, but there are buses if you need them. We walked everywhere - 10 minutes to Venetian, 25 mins to Paris/Bellagio, 45 mins to MGM.

If you want a relaxing place to return at the end of an exhausting day - you can't beat Wynn!

After a distressing mix-up (I had booked Encore, ended up with Wynn), we received a room with a view of the strip. This was the most outstanding view I've ever had at a hotel. The elevators are unbelievably fast--you have to try them to believe them. Room service was prompt and wonderful, every employee we had any dealings with was super polite and friendly. The marble baths are nice--there's a built-in TV in the bath area (not in the mirror like other hotels, though). Our room was exceptionally quiet, probably the quietest hotel room I've ever been in. It's been about 4 years since we were in Vegas, so we were surprised to see a mini-bar and pretty full TV cable line-up in the room. The resort tower rooms are outstanding, and we can't wait to go back!!

We stayed at the Wynn for a conference. Normally we would look for a less expensive hotel, but my husband likes to stay at the conference hotel. After experiencing this hotel, it would be hard to go anywhere else. There was no need to visit other places as there were numerous restaurants, all with excellent food; they even had a vegan menu at each venue. The gambling was fun and the minimums were in line with less expensive hotel casinos. The room was gorgeous. Service was great. The only problem is that the Wynn is very far north on the strip and taxis are needed to get to shows at the MGM or NYNY hotels.
