“Not bad, but pricey”
Reviewed 27 July 2012

I have eaten here before on other trips. The food was solid. The service was ok, not up to par for a slow time in the middle of the afternoon.

“Fabulous Mexican!”
Reviewed 24 July 2012

We ate here on a lark before a show at Treasure Island and had an amazing meal. From the chips and salsa starters (amazing salsas), yummy chicken tacos, burritos custom ordered, to the great (pineapple) mojitos, it was all good. The service was also outstanding, and the waiter very accommodating with kids requests. They also made sure to get us in and out in time for our show. We lucked out on this last minute, walking in and getting a great per-show table. We followed the recommendation of a pit boss (they know the best places.). Eat here and you will not be disappointed.

“No good. No bueno. Muy Malo!”
Reviewed 23 July 2012

Somebody in our group picked this overpriced Chile's for our dinner on a Friday night. The best part of the meal was the Corona and the salt and pepper to season this mush. The chips were good (hard to screw that up), but the salsa was bland and flavorless. I tried to fill up on chips. I ordered the Baja tacos (fish tacos made with Tilapia). There were. . . what's the word. . . TERRIBLE? The fish was a shoe string piece of something that was deep friend in what tasted like lawn clippings and saw dust. The rice looked like it was microwaved and lifeless. The sauce on the taco's tasted like miracle whip with some pickles or something mixed in. It's no wonder this place is closing. Seriously, I left craving taco bell. I just can't believe this place gets the reviews it does. Sad.

“Can't believe it's closing!!!!”
Reviewed 18 July 2012

Eating at Isla has always been one of our high points of every Las Vegas trip. We have never, ever been disappointed in our drinks, meal or (especially) dessert! We were very shocked and saddened, then, when our server told us Isla would be closing at the end of July. He said something about the decision was in part because of Senor Frogs opening, but the two restaurants can't even be compared! It's like comparing apples and oranges - two completely different dining experiences!

We just can't believe that the next time we are in Las Vegas, Isla will not be part of our itinerary.

“Upscale, but still Mexican food”
Reviewed 14 July 2012

Mexican food is almost like American breakfast...simple and hard to mess up.
Well, they don't mess it up here.
A bit pricey, considering the hosting property, but good.
A decent variety of drinks, although equally pricey ($12.00)
