“The Voodoo ZIPLINE!! and the Voodoo Lounge....meh”

My husband and I are in Vegas several times a year, and always looking for new things. Voodoo Zipline was on our new stuff list!
The Rio is about a 5 minute cab ride away from the strip. Going thru the Rio is a little sad...once upon a time this was a happening kinda place but its really feeling old and tired. Head on up the elevators to the Voodoo Lounge.
Once again, we were sad at how tired the lounge looks now, but one thing that will never change is the FANTASTIC views and crisp open air on this rooftop. STUNNING.
The Zipline workers have you pose for skyline pictures, then off you go to get 'security wanded' for metal stuff...My bra went off and they asked if I had underwires. Jeez. LOL. There is a locker right there where they take your belongings...ALL OF THEM. Flips flops also must be removed.
They strap you in the metal carriage bench extremely tight with two belts each. SERIOUSLY tight...I asked for looser and they said no. Off you go with their installed cameras popping and flashing...amazing views and fresh night air...the end at the other tower pops more pictures, then you return to the upper tower backwards. Worth doing for your bucket list! GO AT NIGHT! The views from Voodoo Lounge and the ride can best be enjoyed in all their glory at night

Zipline was terrifying...in a good way!! Service was great from staff who were attentive and friendly. Was really annoyed to find out we needed ID to go the Zipline as it is situated in a bar. Nowhere does it say on their website, ticketmaster (where we bought the tickets) or at Zipline kiosk that you must produce ID to get through to the lift area. We are both in our 30s and don't look 21 but it didn't matter!! This resulted in a return trip to the hotel by taxi to get ID- needless to say I was not happy! The line is open noon- midnight. We went at night but not sure if it would be any different during the day. T

Got well looked after here. Money talks in vegas so tip well and you'll be sure to be given a great night here. Best view in vegas. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ID REGARDLESS OF AGE. THEY WONT LET YOU IN WITHOUT IT.

Me and my Dad went to go check out the zipline after seeing it all over the news... Its not like a normal zip line you might have done before. Its a 2 seated chair but at speeds of 30 mph and 51 stories high, its enough to get your adrenaline going! You only have 2 seat belts and the edge of the chair feels a little too short but it just adds to the THRILL! The best part about it, was that it brings you right back to where you started and I loved all the pictures that they took while we were on the ride!! Cant wait till they do some sort of Go Pro video!! We bought our ticket at the retail shop and then were added into this cue line. They put our number in this app and it texted us telling us that it was our time to go in 10 min. It was nice NOT TO WAIT IN ANY LINES!! We went and checked out some of the shops while we waited. Then we went to the 51st floor and took an amazing photo with the strip in the backround then started down the stairs to the ride. The whole experience was awesome!
