Owner description: A popular lounge in the Caesars Palace hotel, the main attraction is the floating dance floor. A barge that sits in water, where it's lightly rocked by hydraulics. An elaborate re-creation of the Eygptian times.

We have visited Cleopatra's Barge several times and loved it. Great music, fun crowd and dancing. On our recent trip, the bar seems to have changed, perhaps trying to attract a different demographic? A DJ playing music that you can go to Pure or any other Vegas club to hear was there. On prior visits to Cleopatra's Barge, there was a mix of '70's, '80's, '90's and current pop music. MUCH more fun - such a shame......

Great spot to people watch, or dancing. Great spot to stop before or after dinner. Late night as more activity there is no charge to get in, or well their hasn't been anytime we have went.

Stopped in after the Rod Stewart show on a Saturday night and we had so much fun!
Miraculously found an empty table right by the door, very cool lighting, great sound system, the band playing cover dance tunes was awesome (!!), the DJ in between sets was great and people watching was fascinating as always!
Me and my sister danced out butts off while my mom sat back and watched us boogie away up on the barge.
Note: really small dance floor and don't wait for a cocktail waitress or you will never get a drink! Just go up to the bar!
Overall, super fun place and would most definitely go back!

Three girlfriends and I were staying at Caesars and had "big plans" to spend the evening at Pure. We stopped at Cleopatra's Barge first and got champagne bottle service. The atmosphere was fun - it was dead when we first arrived (Saturday night) but had definitely picked up by the time we left. Pure was a disappointment, we stayed for a drink and left, and came back to the barge where we ended our night. The music was good later in the evening - when we had originally stopped in, it was so early the dj hadn't started yet. If you aren't into huge crowded bars where it takes forever to get a drink, this is the place to go.

We were looking for a place to have a drink and do a little dancing. We stopped in around 11 pm, on a Tuesday and the place was pretty dead. More couples came in after we arrived. Service was a bit slow and DJ played the same type of music, same beat, over and over again. Only one couple was dancing, so we left after one drink and one dance. Would have prefered a variety of songs, including an ocassional slow one. Should have asked the DJ to mix it up a bit, but decided to move on instead. The barge itself was quite nice and the atmosphere first-class. The night we were there the barge was aground - no water, no floating, but it really didn't matter - we didn't notice until we left. I'd go again.
