If you are looking for a suite or room with separate bedrooms on the Las Vegas strip I highly recommend the Signature at the MGM Grand. The rooms are reasonably priced for suites and the rooms are very nice and full featured including a kitchen. While you may not want to cook your own meals while on vacation you may want to heat up left overs from a gourmet restaurant or do breakfast or lunch in room to save time or money so it's a very useful amenity few suites in Las Vegas offer. The location is behind the MGM and it is a non-gaming hotel so if you are there for the night life it may not be the best choice. On the other hand it is close to the MGM pool complex and not far from the MGM itself so it's not difficult to get to the MGM via moving walkways. It's also quite easy to go directly from the Signature to other locations on the Strip or other parts of Vegas as it has a separate entrance of the strip which makes getting in and out quite easy and the Valets are always happy to call a cab for you if you don't want to drive so moving about the strip is quite simple from the Signature. If you want a quiet, relaxed place to stay with easy access to all the strip has to offer I think the Signature is well worth a look.

The MGM Signature is not the typical Vegas hotel. Three towers contain studio and 1-bedroom condominiums. Each tower has it’s own, rather simple, lobby with a check-in desk. The lines were never more than a couple people. The front desk is closed from 11 pm until 7 am, so not sure what you do if you have a late arrival or delayed flight. Apparently some of the condos are privately owned and rented separately through an alternate vendor, but my review is based on going through the MGM.

With an early flight into Vegas, I requested and paid for early check-in. Unfortunately, I still had to wait several hours. The room itself was quite nice – on par with any basic room at an upscale hotel. The room was extremely clean, large bed – comfortable pillows, sitting couch and one huge bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub, separate shower, and two sinks. The kitchenette in the room is rather unnecessary as there are no convenient places to buy food items – and you’re just a short walk away from a food court. There was no silverware or utensils in my room. The flatscreen TV is about 36 inches, but it’s fed with an analog signal, not HDTV. The view is spectacular from the balcony, but as many have said, no chairs.

The MGM is a reasonable walk to the MGM Grand with 3 moving walkways to help. The walkway is all enclosed (air conditioned) and connects to the back of the MGM Grand. It’s closest to the MGM pool complex and your keycard gets you in free, so if you like hanging out by the pool or the lazy river – this can be very convenient. It’s also close to the monorail for convenient access to a few other hotels. However it can be a long walk if you’re headed to the buffet or the Strip, but a little exercise helps to balance other indulgences.

The value here is a quality room at a great price. The downside is the MGM Grand is not as appealing as Caesars, the Venetian or the Bellagio. We stayed Sunday through Thursday and the MGM Grand was near abandoned after 10 pm, whereas those other hotels were still very active.

As I don’t mind taking the monorail and the extra walking, this will be one of my regular stops. However I wouldn't stay on a Friday or Saturday. Their advertising tries to appeal to large groups (bachelorette parties, etc) willing to stuff many people into a single room. Checking in on Sunday morning, it was obvious there were many of these type of groups - and with minimal staff to handle noise - this is something you should be weary of!

Room Tip: The balcony suite will put you on a higher floor, but this means longer elevator rides.

The Signature was easy to find and very close to the airport. The room was very clean and well appointed. We were in Tower 2 which afforded a nice view of New York, New York. The location is very close to Planet Hollywood. Best way to get around in Las Vegas, if you want to walk "The Strip," is to take your rental car and valet park it at The Mirage. It's free and you only have to tip a couple of bucks. The Mirage is right in the middle of the strip and next to Caesar's Palace. This was much cheaper than grabbing taxi's. The Strip is much too long to walk down if you start at the end. If you want to visit a particular casino you can always try to valet park, but we found that the higher end casinos reserved their valet parking for hotel guests.
The Signature pool area had a bit to be desired, but didn't really bother us because we didn't plan on sitting by the pool there.

Room Tip: The higher up you stay the better the view, especially at night.

Booked a week in Vegas through a 'secret hotel' website and ended up with a deluxe suite for a bargain price. Upon check in we were a little weary from the 16 hour trip (we took the long way round!) but the staff were very friendly, prompt and helpful. The room its self was a really good size, very clean and although not as modern as other hotels there was no sign of wear or tear and the jacuzzi type bath was great to have after a long days walk. The only criticism is the wi-fi signal was a bit weak in our room and took a little longer than usual to load however we only used it for a bit of research so this really didn't matter too much.

The Signature has no casino and made it feel like a really calm compared to the busy Strip but it is only a short walk to the MGM Grand (5-10 mins) with clear signposts & travelators along the way. As well as the smaller Signature Pools which were brilliant with ample sun loungers and a bar, there is also free access to the MGM's pool which we made use of during our stay (we preferred the Signature Pool as we found it was more relaxed).

If you are after a party hotel this might not be it but for a bit of downtime inbetween a busy trip, in a good location and a good nights sleep this hotel was great and I wouldn't hesitate to stay again!

Loved our stay here! Very reasonably priced 1 bedroom suite with kitchen & dining area. The bed was so comfi and my kids didn't complain once about sleeping on the pull-out sofa bed. Our suite was kept impeccably clean.

We checked in at Tower 3 but our room was in Tower 2, floor 26. We loved the views from the balcony. My kids were happy with the pool at this tower and also loved the lazy river at the main MGM pool. Moving walk-ways take you between the towers and MGM Grand. The food court inside MGM Grand was good as was Rainforest Café. We did the CSI Experience and saw Ka here. You could stay here and never need to venture outside.

Great place for a family to stay, I would stay here again and would recommend the Signature at MGM.

Stayed here for 4 nights recently and was enticed by the price. We booked our 2 bedroom penthouse suite through the HomeAway website. This meant it was a private booking. The suite was beautiful and situated on a high floor. Our 2 bedroom comfortably slept 6 of us but there was also another sofa bed unused. The bonus - 3 bathrooms and full kitchen.

Booking privately has its ups and downs. As we arrived early in the morning, we were unable to take advantage of early check in as we hadn't booked through the hotel. We were also told we were unable to use the laundry facilities as we booked for less than a week, although we ended up talking our way in there.

Facilities are great. Each of the towers are joined to the MGM Grand via enclosed walk ways with travellators (for the lazy or those not in a hurry). They also set up bars along this concourse when there are big events on. You get access to the MGM Grand faciltiies including the many pools and there are plenty of food venues in the Casino less than a 5 min walk from the room. Rooms also have balconys!

Beds are comfy and rooms are clean. Rooms have block out curtains which come in handy. Although its not directly on the "strip" it is only a walk through the MGM Grand to get there. Also, its only a 10 min drive to the airport too.

Would defintately stay here again for the price and value.

Room Tip: High rooms have better views of the strip.
