The Platinum is a very nice hotel. You don't pay top prices, and you get almost-luxury.

Every room - even the smallest - are very large suites, all with balconies and full kitchens. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. I didn't use much of the kitchen or living room so I can't comment there, but the bed was super comfy. The gigantic jacuzzi tub was awesome, as were the two sinks, and the two tvs (though I only used the one in the bedroom).

There were a few less-than-luxury elements I noticed, such as there being no bedsheet and the comforter being put on backwards, one of the water handles on the tub leaking, a complicated and ultimately non-working alarm clock, and a lack of hot-enough water in the shower two of my three mornings (though certainly nowhere near cold). But, it was a really nice stay for the price. The wifi worked great.

The staff is very nice and let you alone, and the valet attendants are extremely friendly, quick, and helpful. The pool area seemed nice, though it was late December so aside from checking it out I didn't visit it (though I probably would have for the jacuzzi had I not had the jetted tub of my own).

The hotel was quiet and the room service menu looked great, though I didn't try it. The fitness center is what you'd expect - a hardwood floor room with three large TVs, 4 treadmills, 3 ellipticals, 2 bikes, and weights and benches. My only complaint is that there was heat blasting straight on you every 10 minutes. Not awesome, but whatever.

The Platinum is a great choice if you want a nice place that ISN'T on the strip, but is easily within walking distance.

Thank you for sharing your stay. I really appreciate the positives and negatives, it gives me the opportunity to share this type of feedback with all of my employees. I will see whats going on with the heater in the fitness center and hopefully it didn't drive you too crazy. We always have room for improvement and thank you once again for sharing

My wife and I stayed at the Platinum for 3 nights. We loved our 1 BR apartment. Everything was clean and in good condition; comfortable bed, quiet environment, and smoke-free; nice view of strip hotels from our 10th floor balcony. All staff were courteous and friendly. Ordered room service one night and it was very prompt and good. The strip was a pleasant 10 minute jaunt. We'll likely stay here on our next visit.

Thank you for sharing. I too like to call our property a "hidden gem", it is so nice to come back to a hotel free of lines, noise and smoke. We hope you choose us again in the future.

We stayed at the platinum hotel 2 nights and found it just perfect!!!!
We got a room with the view of the hotel which was nice, but even nicer was the room itself, huge room with a full kitchen, living room and bedroom, the whole area was very clean and I would say it has neutral stance for Vegas which made it excellent for the family.

I would definitely recommend the hotel and If Im ever back I would pick this hotel again.

Thanks!

Room Tip: get one with the view to the strip in upper levels.

Although we've been to Vegas several times, this was our first experience at The Platinum Hotel and Spa. After a wonderful stay, we'll definitely be back again.
Driving to Las Vegas in early December for the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo, we had better roads than we expected and arrived in town a day earlier than planned.
The great customer service that made us so pleased with the hotel began when we called from the road to see if we could check in a day early. Not only was the hotel very accommodating, they put us in a beautiful corner room that was quiet and so comfortable.
From the moment we got out of the car at the door, we were greeted with friendly smiles and a helpful attitude. We were there for six nights and saw a lot of different staff but every single one of them was courteous and made us feel like VIP guests.
This property is smoke-free without a casino (the reason we chose it). It is located just off the strip (an easy 10 minute walk) and next door to the Tuscany Suites and Casino, for those looking for a place to gamble or more dining options.
Another aspect we appreciated was that everything was included with the room rate. There weren't resort fees, valet parking fees, internet fees, etc.. Everything is included upfront, which was one more reason we liked this property.
The rooms (at least ours) are spacious and well-appointed with a super-comfortable bed, full kitchen, and whirlpool tubs.
Kil@wat Restaurant offered a wonderful selection of breakfast options (the only meal we ate there). Both the food and the service was excellent.
If you're looking for a lovely place to stay with unbeatable service and fabulous staff, the Platinum is it.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on one of the higher floors if you want a great view.

Thank you very much for sharing your experience. We love when the rodeo is in town, hopefully it wont stay in Texas forever... The only way we can survive in such a competitive market is to have associates that truly care and treat anyone that walks through the door as a VIP!! Sounds like you had an amazing time, were always open just in case you didnt want to wait until next year!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at The Platinum Hotel. Besides offering a great value and outstanding customer service, this hotel has many elegant touches: modern kitchens and whirlpool tubs in each room, plus warm apple cider served in the lobby. Also, we were glad that the hotel has an indoor/outdoor pool. Nicole at the front desk was very friendly. The food at KILAWAT was delicious, especially the shrimp tacos. Ish, Danny, and Emmerito provided us with great service. It was a fairly long walk down Flamingo Ave. to get to the Strip, but we were able to make it there within 10 minutes. Overall, we had a positive experience during our stay and would highly recommend The Platinum Hotel.

Thank you for sharing you experience. I was a little disappointed to take away the apple cider, it was just to tasty. Those guys in the restaurant do a really fantastic job and really enjoy what they do. I have made sure to give Nicole some kudos as well, i see these individuals give great service daily and its very nice to see them get mentioned.

This off-Strip hotel offers the features and amenities of a serviced-apartment. Fully-equipped with a useable kitchen, separate living and sleeping areas and a large bath; serviced daily by professional staff. Greetings at the door and front desk were always genuine and charming.
The lounge boasted an excellent happy hour with an excellent set of by-the-glass wines. We had dinner once and enjoyed it; the breakfasts in the upper floor restaurant were nourishing and tasty
All in all, a fabulous value just a block and a half from the Strip.
