Description: Tamba is a new style of indian restaurant. It is authentic yet innovative, with a menu that both honors and reinvents tradition. Elegant and comfortable, hip and accessible, tamba is home to a sumptuous decor awash in the hues of india's signature spices. We like to say that if bollywood had a rat pack, this is where they'd hang out. The restaurant has seating for 300. Private parties up to 75 can relax in the hip, vibrant lounge where sophistication meshes seamlessly with style.

The good about this restaurant is the location and thats about it. Food is average and most curries taste alike.. to the Indian palate at least. If you are craving for regualr Indian food, you will get it here but not anything to write home about.

We have been here a couple of times and like it. They have great variety on the afternoon buffet and the food is fresh and well prepared. They have a variety of vegetarian options on the buffet. We always end up eating here during our trips to Vegas.

The place is conveniently located and the ambiance is nice.

I give it 3 stars instead of four because,a couple of staff members are rude, They do not have free parking and this is quite inconvenient on a hot day. Also the buffet is quite pricey, $15 per person, drinks not included.

But it is mostly a nice experience. Will definitely go back.

The location on the strip was the best part of the restaurant. The food was ok with average taste and as we are vegetarian we had very limited choices. The spice level in some of the dishes was very low as per the indian standards. Overall the taste was below expectations for me.

Given that its right on the strip, is a great dining option for vegetarians/ Indians looking for food other than basic pizza or subway.
The food was quite good and the entree portion size generous too.
It was a tad expensive, as were most food options in Vegas!

We are a Vegetarian Indian couple and stayed for around half a week in Vegas. Indian food is Average or below average in taste and authenticity in Vegas. We went here for a buffet. Buffet in all Indian restaurants there starts at 11:00 am.
Buffet offers a good variety of food (veg, non-veg, region wise) but the food taste-wise is average.
*Atmosphere is quiet and nice.Decorations and wall paintings does get us back to India.
*Restrooms are nice and clean with self-sanitizing door handles. Also the wall near restrooms displays the visits by stars of Indian Bollywood and music industry.*
*Service is great.
*fine dining and good for special dates and occasions.
I find it a bit pricey for the food they offer (taste wise) but I wont mind to pay for the atmosphere, service and variety of food they offer there.
and yes as @sakshimalik told Mango lassi is great!
