The Tahiti Village was recommended by a friend. We stayed 7 days as we made our first trip to Las Vegas. A most beautiful place blocks away from downtown Vegas. Beautiful grounds, a beautiful pool and landscape. Friendly and helpful staff. We rented an auto, but the hotel does have a shuttle bus to the strip. It was just a very relaxing environment, the pool, the outdoor grills, the beautiful palm trees and the nice rooms.

Everything about this property was excellent. We had a two-bedroom unit as my Mom came with us. The lobby was well appointed and comfortable, and check in was easy. We even got to vote on the best gingerbread house, as designed by the staff. The pool was great, and the adult only spa at 4 am was wonderful. The rooms and kitchens were well appointed, and allowed us to have breakfast in each morning, this saving some significant $ to use on other entertainment. Nice job by all involved. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

Room Tip: We had a great room with a balcony that allowed us to watch the comings and goings at the airport wi...

Thank you for reviewing your recent visit with us. We are happy you found our accommodations to your liking. It is great to know you had a wonderful experience, and that you enjoyed some early morning relaxation in our 24-hour adult spa. Our deluxe two-bedroom Royal Tahitian offers plenty of room for the whole family and comes with numerous amenities - including a full kitchen - you won’t find in a typical Las Vegas hotel room. Thank you once again for visiting. We appreciate your comments and hope to see you soon.

We exchanged through II for a week stay the second week of December for our 23rd anniversary. We arrived on a Monday evening after several flight delays from bad weather in the mid-west and to cooler temperatures in Las Vegas. The tropical themed lobby is beautiful with soaring ceilings, beautiful lighting and a welcoming aroma. Our check-in was prompt with no waiting by a friendly receptionist who outlined all the amenities, shuttle schedule, property map and directed us to the concierge for shuttle reservations to Red Rock Canyon ($5pp) and the Downtown Fremont Experience the next day.

Yes, Tahiti Village offers complimentary shuttle trips to these places, plus grocery excursions, Town Square Shopping Center and daily transportation every 30 minutes to NYNY and Mirage on the strip. This was a huge perk and we utilized it every day saving us $$$ in transportation costs. The shuttles were comfortable, roomy and always at the designated stops on time.

Our Moorea room was a beautiful respite that evening after our long day in airports and on planes. Nice sized living area decorated tastefully with comfy hide-a-bed sofa, chair, TV, lamps and coffee table. With built in closet and drawers for extra guests. The small kitchenette had granite bar and countertops with bar stools, microwave, small refrigerator, toaster, coffee pot, and plates, glasses, cups and service for 4. Perfect for us since we didn't plan on more than morning coffee and a cold place to store beer. Down the hall was the king bedroom with side tables, lamps, chest, huge flat screen TV and a nice sized closet. The comfortable king had nice linens with plenty of pillows and extra blankets for the cooler temps and the drapes were heavy blocking out any light. The bath was ample with tub/shower combo, although the vanity was small and the lighting inadequate. This would be my only complaint for the room.

The resort itself is located south on the Las Vegas strip and very near the airport. Our taxi fare to/from the airport was only $20 with tip. The grounds are lush and beautiful with tropical foliage and palm trees everywhere. The pool and lazy river is fabulous. Just wish we had warmer weather to enjoy it more during our stay. It is heated to about 80 degrees, but couldn't bring myself to take a dip in 50 degree temps. The BBQ areas offer numerous clean gas grills with umbrella tables for dining and smoking is allowed in all the outside areas. There are 2 large hot tubs and both are open for use 24 hours a day...Aaahhh!! They also have nice fitness rooms and the Mahana Spa services are available
Located on property is Tahiti Joe's bar, offering beer specials with coupon provided at check in and video poker machines around the nicely stocked bar. They also have a restaurant but, it is our understanding, that they are moving Tahiti Joe's into the main lobby and nearer to the pool. Also, on site is a Denny's, open 24 hours that we visited numerous times for reasonable priced and great food especially at 3am! Be sure and check out the Hobbit menu on the tables (not the ones they seat you with), they offer good value meals for $2,$4,$6,$8 for the budget minded and are plentiful and very good.

All employees we encountered were friendly, going above and beyond with any requests, questions, directions and helpful hints to Vegas. No pressure what so ever when we declined the sales presentation. Free business center available to print our boarding passes and we were allowed to leave our luggage with the bell hop for free after check out and also to ride the shuttle to the strip to enjoy a little more gambling before our late flight home.

Just wanted to add a note of an observation we made at several of the strip luxury hotel/casinos we explored during our stay. These places are massive and confusing! The check in areas were roped with lines and lines of people, kids and luggage. Then they were having to traipse through the casinos and the crowds to their rooms that were God know where!! Especially hard on the newbies and the elderly. We heard lots of complaining! Not my idea of welcoming no matter how glamorous the digs! ****** Not the case at Tahiti Village*******
Perfect size ...Comfortable accommodations...Friendly people...Impeccable transportation!!

Do not pass this resort up...it's a winner! Thanks Tahiti Village for a wonderful anniversary. Hopeful for the opportunity to return in the summer and enjoy that pool!

Room Tip: Ask for a room closer to the elevators...long trek from the end of the building

My wife booked us on a 7 day stay the 6th -13 of December. Prior to going I had received excellent service from a few staff regarding some questions I had about the resort as well as the area.
As for the room all I can is wow. It was the bora bora with a great view over the pools and to the airport as well as the strip area. The room was spotless. It was fully furnished so all we needed was groceries. Nice jacuzzi tub And steamer in the shower

All in all it's hands down the best resort I've ever stayed. I wouldn't stay anywhere else but here in vegas. Loved it! Thanks tahiti staff for the wonderful week!

It's been said and held to be generally true, that if you travel long and far enough, you'll get to experience the full circle of quality in commercial resort accommodations.
Based on our (my wife and me) experiences at Tahiti Village, we'd recommend that you bypass this resort located on the south end of the strip across from the airport.
We traded a two bedroom, deluxe condo for what was listed as a one bedroom with kitchen facilities.
We thought that we were being proactive in our decision to go to the grocery store before we checked in. Much to our surprise (and chagrin), we discovered our kitchen facilities were limited to a microwave, small hotel room sized refrigeration, toaster, and a sink.
On the bright side, we learned to cook scrambled eggs in the microwave. On the downside, we were stuck, even after beseeching the operations staff and the sales general manager Kent Niesen, about our dilemma.
We can't upgrade you because the rodeo is in town and we are full. Sounded plausible, but when we asked the desk clerk, he said an upgrade would be available for an upgrade fee of $49 a night!
Expecting him to squirt me in the eye with a fake carnation, I quickly reasoned that a swap of a two bedroom deluxe for this place was not worth paying the upgrade fee just to be able to have cooking privileges.. Besides, buying an electric frying pan would be a cheaper alternative.

Any resort that had credibility, integrity, and self respect would not treat their customers this way.

Thank you for visiting Tahiti Village. We are sorry your exchange experience did not meet your expectations. As you probably are aware as an experienced exchange club member, the exact unit amenities and configurations you traded for are confirmed through your exchange company. We are sorry if there was any confusion. We also apologize if you were led to believe you were exchanging on the resort’s inventory and not the exchange company’s.

At the time of your check-in, it is likely your exchange company’s inventory with us was sold out and you were offered inventory in another segment. This would explain why the one-bedroom unit with full kitchen was available at one time and not another. When it became available it was our pleasure to move you to our spacious Bora Bora suite (with full kitchen) the last three nights of your stay. Thank you once again for staying with us. We appreciate your feedback.

A group of 5 of us went to Vegas to celebrate our birthdays. We were looking for a room to accommodate all of us, so the suite we had was perfect. It had a full kitchen, two bathrooms, two bedrooms and two pull out couches. The pool area and lazy river were great! The only thing I did not enjoy was the overpowering scent pumped into the lobby area. I have scent allergies and sensitivities so could not stay in that area for very long without feeling a migraine coming on.
I cannont comment on the on site restaraunt as we sat down for 10 minutes and were not even acknowledged, so we left. The lost out on service plus tips for 5 of us and it was not busy, maybe 3 other tables with people at them.
