Owner description: Come and experience the feel of Real Racing at Fast Lap Indoor Kart Racing! Race head to head against other drivers on our thrilling 1/4 mile track designed by former IKF racers! Our karts were inspired by the 2006 CIK outdoor world champion Sodi-Kart. Equipped with 200cc Honda engines, these karts can reach speeds upwards of 50 mph! Our races are 10 minutes each which gives you 16-22 laps on average per race! One of Vegas' most exciting attractions for over 10 years!

It was a good experience but taxi took ages to arrive to the place to drive us back to the strip. The employees in the gokarts were not helpful at all!!

Thank Pantelis-Christ... P

Girls be prepared for not perfect hair after this. Wearing a helmet and head sock is part of the fun. Great staff eager to please and help you out. Easy to get to out the parking garage of the cosmopolitan over the highway on hamon.

Each heat is 10 minutes on a tight and twisty track, which is enough time for 17 or 18 laps at an average speed of about 17-18 mph. It's great fun and gets the adrenaline flowing but constantly turning the steering wheel is tough on the shoulders of a 75-year-old guy like me. Cars are all the same--but not really because some are better maintained that others. The car in my 2nd heat coughed a bit on acceleration. Young people will want to race 3 or 4 heats; for older guys, two heats is plenty. Go early afternoon and you won't run into a kids birthday party (they get priority on the track) or macho drunks (who are dangerous on the track). This is not a high prestige activity; just some down and dirty fun when you want a break from the casinos or something to do while your wife goes shopping. Don't pay the posted price of $25 per 10-min race; there are lots of on-line coupons for this. We found a Groupon coupon of 2 races for 2 people (4 races total) for $39, although most of the coupons come out to about $15-$20 per race.

We were there in April, before it gets really hot. The track is in a warehouse and kinda hard to find. It is NOT air conditioned so be warned. In the summer this place will be unbearably hot. The gasoline powered carts generate a good bit of heat themselves and large fans can only keep the temperature bearable at best. The racing itself is actually very good. The people running the front desk and track were OK, but they don't take reservations - strictly first come first served. We arrived right behind a big group and ended up leaving and coming back rather than wait. Once we did get to race, we enjoyed it very much. The carts are pretty fast and with a fairly tight track, it was an exhilarating, heart-pounding experience.

We had a Groupon so the price was reasonable. Without a coupon, it's pretty expensive. If you are going to pay full price or go during the really hot months, go to Pole Position Raceway instead. It's air conditioned. Of course, it also costs more as well...

Exciting experience to get the adrenaline pumping. It turned into a family competition to see who could get the fastest time.
