As Vegas regulars... we know what we like and expect for our Vegas weekends. This was our 6th time staying at the Palazzo and it was great, as usual. We got the oversized Fortuna suite - incredible. The room is really a lot larger than the regular auite. It makes for a perfect spot to refresh and relax. Everyone at the Palazzo... the bartenders, housekeepers, dealers, concierge... greet you with a genuine smile. Don't stay anywhere else... this is still the best.

We stayed at the Palazzo from February 18 through 22nd. This was our second time at the Palazzo.
Overall we had a great time at this hotel and would not hesitate to return.
Positives:
- Got a great deal online directly from the hotel.
- Check in was fast and friendly, the agent got me a partial view of the strip which was unplanned and a welcome surprise.
- Room was excellent. Given some reviews about the aging and wear of the hotel we were looking for flaws or signs of aging. There was nothing I could find in my room except a small nick on a piece of trim next to the carpet. Room was clean and looked brand new. Bed was excellent and the extra living space is always welcome.
- We ate at Tao, Dos Caminos and Emeril’s Delmonico on site. Both are very good.
- We had breakfast at the 2nd floor café right by the elevator, great coffee and bagels.
- The Shoppes at the Palazzo are very convenient and have a really good range of stores. We enjoyed walking among all of the shoppes at the Palazzo and Venetian.
- The gaming floor is one of the best in Vegas. High ceilings (one of the few casinos that offer this), great dealers and good table limits for everyone. The walkways are also smoke free which is a positive.
- Parking is also a positive. If you know the parking lot, you can park right very close to the room elevators and avoid having to walk a great distance. This is handy when walking with your luggage.
- Security guard at the guest elevators checking for key cards is a great touch. This way non-guests cannot go up to the guest floors.
- My wife went to the spa for a few hours and said the Canyon ranch spa is among the best in the world. It is well know and very busy so advance reservations are recommended.
- Location is unbeatable. Next to Wynn and Fashion show mall. Short walk from Ceasars and Bellagio. I personally think this is the best location in Vegas.

The Palazzo was outstanding... The check-in took a bit longer than hoped for but still not too bad.

The room was the best I've stayed in... Decked out to the max. I got the room last minute when traveling from California. At about 6pm, I called and got a suite for $130 on a Sunday night... It had 3 plasma tv's (one by the bed, one in the tv room, and one in the bathroom), a king size bed, huge sectional sofa, marble everything. Legit.

I would stay here every time I go to Las Vegas if possible.

We greatly enjoyed our stay in the Palazzo. Rooms are fantastic with a split level configuration. Connected to the Venetian which offers a number of fantastic dining locations within the 1 property. We upgraded our room for a scenic view and although we looked over the Strip you only face Treasure Island and the Trump tower - not the worst view in the world (and in fact good view of the free Treasure Island show held in the evening) but not the typical ‘Vegas’ view maybe we were expecting. The room could be enhanced with the inclusion of a coffee maker and i-pod docking station which is more the norm. Would highly recommend though and preferred over the Bellagio for overall experience.

We stayed at the Palazzo for 5 nights in February 2011. My wife had a conference at the Venetian and I "tagged along." There were some really great parts of the hotel and some not so great, so let me delve into the details.

Great things...
1. My wife checked in and there were no issues. Her flight got in early ~10AM and they were able to accommodate her request with an early check in. Great start.

2. There are three sets of elevators (split up by floor) that attempt to get to your room quickly. There was only one time we waited for an elevator for more than 5 minutes.

3. Floor hallways were decorated nicely and mostly quiet. Once in the suite, the room is tastefully decorated, with 3 flat screen TVs (really necessary?), a king size bed and comfortable couch (we napped on it a few times!). We had no issues getting to sleep.

4. Casino floor - the gaming areas are larger and more open than most. They must have had an advanced air filtration system because it seemed a lot less smoky than the venetian. We had lots of fun playing blackjack there. Plus, if you play there a decent amount, they are willing to comp you some of your meals and hotel stay at the end. Not a bad deal. They were able to comp our last night as well as our dinner at Delmonico.

5. Fine dining - We splurged and ate at Emeril's Delmonico for dinner one evening. What a wonderful meal. We really enjoyed it. Get the strip steak and creamed corn. Absolutely worth it.

6. Lots of nightlife and "scenery." Their nightclub is one of the busiest at Vegas with the longest lines to get in. Gentlemen, I'll leave that up to your imagination.

7. Location - all the best of the palazzo, plus the shops and the venetian just steps away...the resort is tastefully done with all the options you could ask for. Plus it is next door to the Wynn/Encore (which we enjoyed) and a short walk to the Mirage, TI, Caesars, Paris and Bellagio. This is one of the good things about this property, it's central location.

Not so great...
1. Regular restaurant - We at at the grand luxe cafe for breakfast one morning, nothing special. Overpriced breakfast, but what would you expect in a high end vegas casino/resort?

2. Bathroom - maybe because we had a handicapped bathroom...but the shower was a bit hard to get in and out of, the shower pressure was on a bit on the low side and there was no door between the toilet and the rest of the bathroom.

3. Annoying motion sensor light in the room - I couldn't figure out what this was until I realized that the blinking red light was a motion sensor light. Very annoying.

4. No desk area + internet fee - I had to login a few times and it was very odd that the suite had no desk area. Plus it was $13 for the internet fee for 24 hours. I guess they want to squeeze every dime from their guests.

5. Our view - really bad view of the top of the casino floor with the HVAC units and planet hollywood in the background. Wished we had a better view.

So all in all, we had a really good time and dealt with the minor negatives. We want to try the Wynn next time since we enjoyed it there, but if the price is right, I would consider staying at the Palazzo again, this time requesting for a regular room (vice a handicapped accessible room) and a strip view.

had a great stay at the Palazzo, has everything we wanted, great casino, numerous pools, fantastic spa, good location, shops and too many bars/restaurants to use in a stay!

this is our favourite hotel so far in Vegas, stayed at the sister hotel the Venetian in 2009 but preferred the palazzo now. No real criticism of The Venetian, just personal preference on the style and layout of The Palazzo. Would definately stay again.

The Palazzo was again a great stay for me for the 3rd time. Greeting, check-in, room were all top-notch. The rooms (all suites) are over-spacious. The only downer was a loud or cranky ventillation fan noise....likely an isolated mechanical problem that I reported at check-out. The cranky fan was soon dismissed when we went to a very large and very comfortable bed. The casino is right-sized and not overly smokey nor loud. The Cafe Lux is OUTSTANDING. The portions are large and the service rivaled 4 star stablishments. Don't let the location and name fool you...Cafe Lux is associated with or they established the Cheesecake Factory from what I was told. Stay agin...for sure!
