“Great house for staying off the Strip, allowing you to explore the real Las Vegas.”
I don’t normally write reviews but in this case I thought it was necessary. Casa Mia is exactly as advertised if not better and excellent value for money. We decided to stay there as we are 3 single people in our mid 30’s - 40’s who wanted an alternative to staying in a 4/5 star Vegas hotel. We booked via trip advisor for that added piece of mind and it paid off as the house was perfect and the deposit payment was returned when they said it would be.
Antonia is very amicable to deal with and she always replied to any of our questions in a timely manner often going above and beyond our expectations of customer service. A good example of this was when she asked us what time we were arriving at the house. She made sure the cleaners has been in that morning so as the house was pristine for our stay.
The house has everything you would want from a home away from home. The street is very quiet and a great retreat away from the busy Vegas casinos, the added bonus is your own swimming pool and hot tub to relax in after a long day on your feet in and around Vegas. An added bonus is the house has an alarm for that added security, useful if you all decide to go on long day trips to the national parks.
Casa Mia is located close to the airport which is great news if traveling from the UK, especially after an eleven hour flight. There is a Smith’s grocery store 5mins drive from the house so stocking up on supplies is quick and efficient. Having a fully functional kitchen and an amazing grill outside by the pool allows you to have breakfast and other meals at the house, which is a pleasant break from eating out in Vegas. Antonia provides plenty of towels in the house and there is also a large washing machine and separate dryer so you don’t need to pack an excessive amount of clothes to last your stay. There is also a dishwasher so there are no arguments on whose doing the washing up.
Distance to the Strip is about 20 minutes drive due to vegas traffic and you do need a car to get around, however the money we saved by not staying in a Vegas hotel easily covered the car hire. We used the car during the day to visit the sights, Red Rock Canyon, Valley of Fire, Hoover Dam etc. In the evening we used the Uber app on our phones to get Taxis to and from the strip. Uber now have designated drop off points at all the big Vegas hotels and they saved us between $10 - $15 per trip compared to the standard taxis.
In summary we could not fault the house or the service that Antonia provided for our week away and we would definitely book this property again for our next trip to Vegas. Thanks once again Antonia, your house was amazing.
