Saw "Dead and Company". The concert was great but getting in to the arena took a long time. Too many people in a small space. Security was good tho.
great experience except hotel not great, they charge for every little thing, didn't even offer coffee. Not all that friendly.
Staff are rude... you will wait longer to check in and out than anywhere else... Poor processes and people are unhelpful. The rooms are awful. Some are like a dungeon with a window right behind a wall, so there is no light. The rooms are so dark if you have any visual impairment you will be bumping into things. The rooms are poorly maintained with aging fixtures and dark out of style furniture. Rooms are small with no space and no privacy for the toilet, etc. Stay elsewhere.
Attended convention with most sessions in the arena. Had about 12,000 in attendance, which was easily accommodated in the arena. For the presentation speakers, screen projections and the live band, the tech was outstanding. However, when the "canned" music was played, and especially at the closing concert the NOISE WAS DEAFENING!! It was so bad that words were garbled and women with small children and babies had to leave the arena.
The convention audience is middle-aged and older families with young children, and older adults.
The concert was HORRENDOUSLY LOUD. The throbbing bass pounded my chest and prompted me to block me ears! As much as I wanted to be and listen to the artist, the noise drove me, and others to leave the arena after only 15-20 minutes!!
Its a great venue at MGM. We loved the show, and seats very good. Would return anytime, but not for the MGM hotel, which was very bad..
