This property is completely saturated with stale tobacco smoke. It's in the rooms, elevators, lobby and casino. I could never stay there again. I will say that the staff is friendly and mostly helpful, but the smoke is a deal killer.

The only drawback to this hotel - it's not on the strip. Otherwise, I LOVED it.

The Palms Place is completely remodeled. You feel like you're walking into a W hotel or something of the like. It's sleek, modern and hip. The rooms are suites - they have a ton of windows, full kitchens and large bathrooms (with big tubs). The beds are so comfortable and there are even 2 TV's in the room.

The Palm Place is connected to the Palms by a skywalk. It's a 60 second walk to all the restaurants and casino in the Palms but, there is not a casino in the Palms Place. I loved that fact because you felt like you were in a little oasis away from the craziness, over-stimulated world of the casino. But a 60 second walk and you were there.

The restaurants in both the Palms Place and the Palms were fabulous. In fact, you really didn't need to leave the hotel but a cab ride to the strip is just a few bucks. The gym and spa were beautiful and had all the equipment you could ever need.

I would DEFINITELY stay at the Palms Place again.

Room Tip: Check out all the travel deal sites - we found an amazing deal on Travelzoo. $149 for 2 nights in a...

My fiancé and I booked a studio suite at Palms Place and really enjoyed our two night stay. The room was very spacious with a living room and two flat screens. The suite came with a full kitchen (stove, fridge, freezer, all utensils and much more). The bathrooms were very nice especially the big rain shower head. Staff was friendly and I would definitely stay here again. It's also nice that they have a direct walkway to the Palms Casino.

Upon arrival we signed in and were put on the 10th floor for one night, view was good but the room was quite dirty , we had requested a higher floor and moved up to 38th floor next night,The view was wonderful, we could see all the way down to Freemont street and to the Mandalay Bay and beyond, and the room was MUCH cleaner. The beds were sooo comfy , I slept like a baby. Love the Jacuzzi tub in the bedroom, the best one i've been in so far. It has an okay equipt kitchen , with fridge, stove, microwave and dishwasher. We like to cook in our room so this was great and also has a washer and dryer and a fireplace in the living room. They do have balconies BUT your not allowed to use them which really sucked,( I guess some morons decided it would be fun to throw beer bottles down at the cars and people , so its now a liability) . It only takes one stupid person to ruin it for everyone, as our deck was huge and I would have loved to have been able to go and have our morning coffee out there. There is a casino there but you take an indoor walkway to get to it as it is at THE PALMS , not THE PALMS HOTEL AND SPA. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Elevators were very confusing as there are no 40,s floors and then it goes from I believe 52-57 , weird. All in all we liked it and would stay there again if the deal is right :-).
PS: just one more thing, their shuttle bus to the strip only runs until 8pm at night which kinda sucked.

Room Tip: If your looking for a great view and like to save a bit of money by doing some of your own cooking I...

This hotel was certainly a hidden treasure, and this was our very first time staying at Palms Place, never knew this place existed (We did know about the Palms Hotel). It was nice that we didn't have to worry about the smoke and gaming aspect of our trip, although if we did have the option of walking through the Tubing Sky?? not sure what was called by the Concierge. I would like to mention that the one person that stood out on our trip that certainly went above and beyond to help us was Janet at the Concierge. She stopped and greeted us with a warm WELCOME before we were headed up to the elevators, she also gave us helpful information about the hotel and said that if we needed further help or questions she would or her colleagues will be there at the desk to assist us. So after dropping off our luggages to the room, we took Janet's advice and came down to the desk to speak with her.. She was very knowledgeable about the property and Las Vegas in itself, she gave honest recommendations and booked us for several shows (Le Reve and Absinthe) and dined at NINE Steakhouse and NOVI, and she was right, the happy hour at Simons restaurant was amazing. My wife and I plan to come back to Palms Place in December and hope to see Janet during that time, I hope management knows how valuable she is to their property, she has an awesome smile and energy, and certainly shows that she enjoys her job.
