Palms Place Hotel and Spa

We were upgraded to a room in the Palms Place at no extra charge by the front desk person. He warned us of the distance between that tower and the main casino area but the walk was worth it. The room was awesome very stylish and chic, clean and comfortable. I felt like a star with my view of the strip and the decor. It was very quiet even though there were a lot of people staying in the tower. I was really happy that if I had chosen to use it the "quiet" pool was located in that tower as well with the fitness center and spa. I will be staying there again.

Loved our room at the Palms, Las Vegas! Very modern, clean and spacious. Pretty good trifecta already in my book. Both pools were amazing! My husband and I had delicious Bloody Marys pool side. Since it's a little off the main strip, you divert the crazyness and the usual hustle and bustle of annoying party people. Don't get me wrong, we love to get our party on too, but will do just fine without the constant orgy and booze fest you sometimes experience when in Vegas! The casino has cool vibe. The crowd is young and hip. Played the roulette for couple of hours getting delicious piña coladas on the house! Went to club Rain with a few friends that stayed in different hotels. We had a blast! Will be returning! We always do.

Fantastic large room, well fitted out with a kitchen area with microwave, 2 ring hob, dishwasher, mini bar and fridge, toaster, there is also a safe in the room.
Fantastic bathroom with a walk in shower and whirlpool bath, all the staff are very helpful and polite.

The room was a tremendous value. Upon check in I was offered a free upgrade to strip view which was great. The room service was delicious, and housekeeping was great. The only drawback was the distance from the strip but didn't hamper my trip that much at all.

Upon arrival we went to the Palms entrance ( not Palms Place ) the jerk that checked us in was rather rude, like we knew where we were staying. Then he was snippy about the "resort fee". I think it was steep for this place, but we had to pay it because it was already booked. When we asked directions, he rather mumbled, I had to ask again and I'm not hard of hearing.

Opening the door to the room... It was very nice and clean, so was the bathroom. Our shower handle was broken but the repair man was there in 3-4 minutes. I was impressed with that, plus he fixed it on the spot. I went to open the balcony door and the darn thing was locked, found out they all are at The Palms. While at the hotel it was very quiet, no noise whatsoever. We didn't get a chance to check out the pool, we went too early in the morning. I did like there was plenty of self parking. We didn't spend much time in the casino area because it looked dead, we went to the strip for gaming. The free shuttle to Ceasars was nice and the driver was great and very informative of where to eat on the strip.
We were impressed with the room but not the rest of the hotel. Next month when we fly back out to Vegas we will stay on the strip.

Dear BigDaddysTravels,

It is very unfortunate to hear of your experience at check in. Both Palms and Palms Place stride to create an inviting environment for all hotel guests. We are glad to hear you enjoyed the accommodations during your stay though. We would like to hear more details in regards to your arrival as we always look to find areas of improvement. Please feel free to contact us at info@palms.com and we hope to have you return for a better experience.

Great value! Loved the location. Slightly disappointed the balcony was locked but not really an issue. Greatest shower ever! 3 heads! Fireplace, jacuzzi tub, comfortable bed. Clean property. This is a no brainier when staying in Las Vegas.
