We were looking forward to sleeping and relaxing in the legendary Four Seasons excellence to celebrate my 50th birthday and our 27th anniversary. Our room was beautiful, the bed luxurious, the pool staff and food were awesome. There were comfy pool chairs, stacks of fluffy towels and full use of the Mandalay Bay pools....ahhh.. we were so looking forward to our stay.

Upon arrival we were very pleased that they were able to accommodate our morning arrival and offered us an upgrade to a pool view, which we accepted. They even surprised us with a delicious chocolate cake to celebrate our special occasion. Very nice and appreciated.

However, there was VERY LOUD horrible DJ pool party music that played until midnight for a very small crowd on the Mandalay Bay Beach the first night of our stay. We were ready to sleep at 9:30 p.m. (we're from a different time zone and were exhausted). We had checked the Mandalay Bay website prior to booking the Four Seasons and saw that there were no concerts planned during our stay. Since we booked the Four Seasons with the intention of actually sleeping we were very disappointed that we weren't told that there would be VERY LOUD music playing until midnight when they offered us the pool view upgrade. We could still hear the music after trying to drown out the sound with music on our room TV.

If we had been told about the music issue we would not have accepted the upgrade and would have requested a room away from the noise.

In addition to not being able to sleep for an additional 2 1/2 hours after we should have been able to sleep, we were disappointed that we weren't offered any type of compensation for our inconvenience. The front desk staff simply said they were sorry and that there wouldn't be any music for the remaining two nights of our stay. When we checked out we also let them know of the noise problem we had experienced and they once again apologized but didn't offer any type of compensation. I also filled out the mail-in survey to notify them of the problem that we had experienced but never heard anything back.

If we wanted noise we would have booked ourselves a room at the Cosmopolitan. Actually we did stay two nights at the Cosmopolitan following our stay at the Four Seasons using our Marriott points. We requested a room away from the nightclub music noise that we had read about on Trip Advisor and were upgraded to a One Bedroom Suite with a balcony overlooking the Bellagio fountains. The room had a fantastic view of the strip and was quite.

My husband frequently travels for business and prefers to stay at Four Seasons hotels but based on our negative experience at this Las Vegas Four Seasons he has started staying at Marriotts again to earn Marriott points.

Room Tip: Make sure there won't be any loud music at Mandalay Beach if you want to get to sleep before mid...

I had a booked an American Express package which included a dinner and breakfast credit. At check-in, I was upgraded to a one bedroom suite...the room was amazing! There was an impressive living room with 1/2 bath and a large bedroom with marble bathroom. This was one of the nicest rooms that I have stayed at in this price range. It was lovely to be in a non-gaming hotel since the lobby, hallway and rooms did not smell like stale cigerettes. The pool was small by Las Vegas standards, but very relaxing. The biggest negative was the food at Verandah Restaurant. The food and service was below par for a Four Seasons Hotel...with so many wonderful choices in Las Vegas, the onsite restaurant leaves a lot to be desired.

Thank you for visiting Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas. We appreciate you taking the time to write a review. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your upgrade to a One-Bedroom Suite and that the room exceeded your expectations. Your experience at Verandah restaurant, however, certainly is not reflective of Four Seasons’ standards. Went and looked in most hotels on the stip, and this hotel is top class, it costs a bit more than some hotels but cheaper than others(low cost usa saved us over £300 and no resort fee) , but well wearth it. If you wont vegas full on all the time then this hotel is not for you, but if you wont the best of both worlds this is for you, privet pool, reception and entrance, driveway on the strip, there is velet parking which is $20 over night, but nothing to use during the day apart from tip $3 to $5, and also a carpark around the back of the hotels which is free all the time. You can use all facilitys at mandalay bay, the casino, pool ect but also have the privece of your hotel which is on the 35 to 39 floor of mandalay bay with your own privet lifts that only 4 seasons can use. you can use it to get to the casino floor also though a privet door on the casino floor. If on foot, to get to the cross roads at MGM/NEWYORK NEWYORK there is a tram or you can walk though all the way to the excaliber thought from madalay bay to the luxor and on. ( hope my spelling etc ok)

Lovely hotel, clean, quiet and serene. Excellent staff, friendly and efficient. Very nice pool area with access to all of the Mandaly Bay pools. I recommend the rooms with a view of the Las Vegas strip, amazing! Not inexpensive of course, but the prices aren't untouchable either.

Stayed one night on the American Express package which included breakfast and dinner. Service is 5 star as you would expect. This is no Marriot hotel! The staff opens the door for you, walks you to the front desk and then to your elevator. The lobby and public areas is opulent.

The room is typical of a Four Seasons hotel. Everything nice, great bed, nice bathroom with separate area for the toilet. Needs a fan though.

Nice touches though like your choice of newspaper hanging on your doorknob and not on the floor. Valet is $22 which is rare for a Vegas hotel.

Pool area very nice and you have the option of going to the Mandalay Bay pools. The casino is entered by a private entrance.

This was a nice quiet hotel in the land of craziness known as Vegas.
