“NICEST HOTEL ON THE STRIP”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 May 2013

FOUR SEASONS HOTEL REVIEW
- LAS VEGAS, NV -

CUSTOMER SERVICE - Grade: A
- Their staff tends to your room in the late morning to make your bed... and then returns in the evening to turn your bed down for you and do another round of clean-up
- The check-in process was quick and easy
- We had an afternoon flight and the hotel allowed us to use the pool, use the spa (for exercise or to shower), or simply leave our suitcases in storage while we shopped

POOL - Grade: A+
- Unlike other Vegas pools, this hotel has enough chairs for their guests... even on weekends
- Access to the Mandalay Bay pool (if you even want to go there after seeing how nice the Four Seasons pool is)
- While at the pool, we were offered the following each day at no additional cost:
- Frozen York Peppermint Patties
- Frozen hand towels
- Ice water (which was filled up about every 20 minutes)
- Towel for the chair / Headrest towel
- Misting of our faces with Evian water... Yes, you heard me correctly

LOCATION - Grade: B-
- If you like to be in Vegas and not necessarily have to be around Vegas all the time, this hotel is for you
- However, it is the very last hotel on the south end of the strip and is about a $15 taxi cab ride (each way) to the center of the strip

EXTRAS:
- Free gym
- Free wi-fi
- Free spa (showers, steam room, lockers, hot tubs, etc.)

ROOMS - Grade: A-
- We had a standard room at the hotel and it was very nice... 42" flat screen tv, a view of the Four Seasons pool, a view of the Mandalay Bay pool, jetted tub, etc.

Room Tip: We looked to upgrade upon arrival and were unable to do so. Due to occupancy, you might want to req...

Other reviewers say it and it is true; this is a great hotel on the Strip where you can get away from the craziness of the casino properties. Part of the Mandalay Bay complex, you literally can walk out the back door be in the casino. Mandalay has great restaurants and is a first class casino (albeit not as nice as the Wynn/Encore or the Venetian/Palazzo).

You will feel that you are at a conventional Four Season property with great service. The hotel itself is on the top floors of the Mandalay Bay property and is accessed by a separate elevator bank. The rooms are well appointed and are in great condition but are smaller in size then the room offerings in the top casino hotels. Location at the south end of the strip makes it expensive to get to convention center or to the other properties on the strip. A real plus for golfers is the adjacent Bali Hai golf course which is in great condition and costs a fraction of a round at the Wynn golf course. Only other negative is the health club equipment is not as nice as the equipment you will find at the larger properties. Overall a good hotel and a real good choice for families visiting Vegas.

They treat ever customer like they are a rock star. Excellent food, great surroundings. Pool side service was great. I ask for a fridge for the room and it was brought up immediately. They will not let you carry anything without offering to help. These people truly loved their jobs and it show.

Room Tip: No casino but access To Mandolin Bay.

After the property has undergone an extensive renovation and even added a lobby bar, this has to be a top destination for the business traveler who expects a higher level of service and amenities. WiFi is fast and the signal is strong anywhere you are, except for the conference room area where you are asked to buy their service at exorbitant rates (bring your own hotspot). The rooms are lavish and very comfortable. Desk and lighting are more than adequate with a very comfortable and stylish chair easy to move around whether you want to look out the window or catch the news on TV. Their TVs have a very functional hook up system that allows you to connect just about everything including HDMI. Valet parking can be a bit slow but they try hard to get you out. If you go in an out more than twice, consider parking at the back of the Mandalay and do the walk across the casino and restaurant area. it's not a short walk but saves you from the frustration of not getting your car when you want it. Avoid rooms near the elevator, the traffic is just noisy. Overall, my only dislike is their switch from L'Occitane and Bulgari (suites only) products to "Etro" which frankly smells like chlorine. Lastly, if something is not to your satisfaction, pick up the phone and ask for the problem to be addressed. They are responsive and will act immediately. Food at Verandah and Charlie Palmer is crazy Vegas expensive, but service is expensive. If you rather save a few bucks go to the Mandalay. If you enjoy a better than average Cabernet, their Iconoclast house wine is the one to go to. I have stayed at that location over 25 times in the past couple of years on business travel and plan to continue to do so.

Room Tip: Away from elevators! If your travel budget allows, go for the suites. On long stays, it sure makes a...

Another fabulous Four Seasons experience! In all the craziness, hustle and bustle one associates with Las Vegas, this luxury hotel is like a sanctuary where to go and recharge.
The establishment is beautiful, rooms gorgeous and the pool area perfect. The unhurried pace is like an oasis in this crazy town! The staff is attentive and seem to anticipate your needs :)
We used the Mandalay Bay wave pool and lazy river, also, but felt so pampered at your pool.
The service and unparalleled attention to detail is why you are the best!!!!

You cant say enough about this hotel. I have stayed at many others when the Four seasons is full and I will never understand why anyone would stay anywhere else. The newly decorated rooms and hallways make it extremely comfortable. Its the best in every way Its the best, in evey way.

Room Tip: It really doesnt matter the rooms and view are all beautiful , but the strip view is the best

Our experience at the Four Seasons Las Vegas was fabulous. Almost a year later my husband still talks about the freshly made donuts from the breakfast buffet. Gorgeous hotel. No Casino! But quick access to Mandalay Bay if that's your thing. It is an oasis of calm and civility amongst the hustle and bustle of the strip. It smells divine in the hotel. The Bvlgari toiletries were a welcome perk. Beautiful fitness center and top notch spa. Can't wait to return!
