“cool and calm privacy”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 June 2013

Vegas is hectic. Especially if you are there for an event such as the JCK (you know who you are!) We have stayed at virtually every major hotel, but this is our favorite. The simple reason is privacy and calm. You have a private entrance and lobby that spares you the indignity of a casino gauntlet whenever you enter or exit. There is also an intimate private pool with service beyond compare...... free evian face spray, juice and coffee shots, cucumber infused water(served by the pitcher), frozen mini peppermint patties, etc etc. lovely yet novel. the gardens are lovely and there is a paved walk for the fit. It's a four seasons so the room was as expected, what makes the experience so grand in Vegas is the privacy and calm! Try it :-)

My wife and I had the opportunity to visit the Four Seasons Las Vegas for 5 nights last week. I have stayed at the Mandalay and THE Hotel on site in the past and from now on will indeed stay at the Four Seasons. Yes, it is at the far end of the strip, but to me, that is a good thing.

Some highlights:

First and foremost, the concierge staff, especially Cara. I arranged in advance to have some flowers in the room to surprise my wife. Cara and the team were a great help in making the arrangement and the flowers were gorgeous.

The pool service was top notch. The water pitchers were never empty, the food and drink service was prompt and tasty. I appreciate the fact that the pool is smaller and definitely quieter than the big resort pools. We never had a problem finding a lounge chair and utilized the cabana several times.

The rooms were tastefully decorated, the linens clean and pillows and bedding smelled nice and fresh. We both found the bed incredibly comfy, and were able to crank the air down at night for a real comfortable sleep. Minimal to no noise in the halls or from the rooms around and above. The room was made up promptly each day and the housekeeping staff were polite when we interrupted them once. The shower is on the small side, but it was sufficient. On the 37th floor, in room wireless worked just fine.

The lobby and carport staff were very attentive, always said hello and offered their help. I will add that I think the multiple entry points to the rooms and the spread out lobby remove a certain sense of community found at other Four Seasons resorts. Meaning..... at many of their other resorts you see the same people every day and they get to know you and greet you by name. Here, because you go through any number of points to get to your room, you do lose this nice touch. That said, all the staff were helpful.

The coffee at Press was just OK. The afternoon bar service was better. The Verandah breakfasts and service were excellent. We did check out the Raffles breakfast one morning. For the nominal price difference, the Verandah was superior. We did not eat at Charlie Palmers or utilize room service.

All in all, quite impressed, we got the great summertime rates and will look to go back again another time.

Room Tip: We were on 37th floor, view of the mountains. Midway down the hall. Far enough from the elevator...

Always a peaceful hiding place from "the" action. The room was well appointed and the bed a place for relaxing. The pool was busy but we managed to find lounges with the help of the staff. Too many damn kids in the pool though. Plastic everywhere. As one comes to expect, the staff is main reason we stay at F.S. properties. Kudos to Matt at front desk (when you are in L.A. next, we can take a drive). Thank you.
Breakfast was nice by pool. Wait staff friendly and always trying to please.
We will be back when business calls.

We stayed at the Four Seasons for 6 nights and I cannot fault the hotel. We chose the hotel due to it not having a casino as we had heard this could cause the whole hotel to smell of smoke. From the moment we arrived to the morning we checked out the hotel staff were excellent. The room was very nicely decorated, always left spotless by the room servicing staff and had a nice view overlooking the strip. Our room actually looked out over the airport and our initial fears about the noise from the airport were misplaced. In fact it was very quiet and away from the main part of the strip. Having also looked in several other hotels during our trip I was even more pleased we chose the Four Seasons. It may cost a little more but it is well worth the extra.

My husband and I were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary, we decided to go to Vegas for the first time. I have to admit I was concerned about cigarette smoke as it really bothers me, we chose the Four Seasons, as previous reviews had mentioned that the air was smoke free. I was pleasantly surprised that this was indeed the case. It is a beautiful hotel and the staff are very friendly and helpful. They may not have a casino but the hotel is located on the top floors of the Mandalay Bay which offers a great casino if that is what you are looking for. Great views of the city and the mountains, you got it all!! The hotel is so close to all the action of the strip but far enough away when you want to return to your room for a bit of peace and quiet.

I travel a lot with my career and have stayed in many 4 and 5 star hotel/resorts throughout Canada and the US, the Four Seasons met and exceeded my expectations on professionalism! My biggest concern with traveling is having a clean room. On a few occasions in 5 star resorts, I wondered if the cleaning staff were actually trained on how to clean. This was not a problem with this hotel, my room was sparking clean upon arrival and every day of our visit. I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel, a bit pricy I have to admit, but well worth it. Thank you for making our first visit to Las Vegas and our 30th Wedding Anniversary a great one, we will certainly be back!!

I agree with many of the other reviews...quiet place in the center of the hustle and bustle of Las Vegas. We traveled with our 6 year old grandson and the Four Seasons Hotel made him feel very welcome from the first minute we stepped foot into their hotel. Special little personal gifts and a wonderful childrens menu to order from room service. The pool area was not crowded, which made it very enjoyable for him to play. We would not hesitate to stay here again with our grandson :)

This is a pretty special Vegas hotel. It has no casino and therefore lacks this horrible feel and smell of a Vegas hotel. It is also not as huge as most major Vegas hotels and is not crowded at all. On the other hand you can easily access Mandalay Bay which is located in the same building and have all the Vegas fun. The room view was just great. Rooms are well appointed and comfortable. I liked the breakfast restaurant with poolside tables.
