“Another great stay at the FS Las Vegas”
Reviewed 20 June 2013 via mobile

From the moment they open your car doors, you know you'll be taken care of for the rest of your stay. The staff is what makes this hotel so great. Everyone that works there greets you with a smile. The check in is easy (no lines or pulling your luggage through a crowded casino). The man that checked us in was so great, I wish I remembered his name.
The newly renovated rooms are fantastic. We always get a strip view. Nothing better than laying in bed at night and looking at the lights of the Strip.
Verandah restaurant is really
great. For breakfast, lunch, happy hour, dinner , they've got you covered. Andrew behind the bar at night is fantastic. And we always ask to sit in Leo's section during breakfast
The pool staff are absolutely wonderful! I just wish the FS wasn't so child friendly. Being there on a weekend during the summer we barely went in the pool because of all the children and there plastic toys

The only down side for us was the opening of the lobby bar PRESS. One thing we loved about the FS was how truly quiet and secluded it was. Especially when you walked in, like you were entering into a private club. With Press being right there when you walk in the doors ... Well, just took away that private feeling

We choose the 'Four seasons' through reading so many good reviews but also we wanted a place to relax in between nights on the strip! On Arrival we was given complimentary upgrade which was the perfect start to our vacation! Everyone we encountered from the Reception, concierge, valet, poolside to the bars and restaurants were friendly and professional. We will definitely return to the Four Seasons, and would not hesitate to recommend your hotel to anyone visiting Las Vegas.

We visit Las Vegas once a year for a conference that my husband attends, and we never stay anywhere else. We were thrilled to see the addition of PRESS in the lobby. Upon our late arrival, we didn't feel like venturing out for a meal, and the small plates offered at PRESS were perfect. The pool area is always so relaxing with the most attentive staff you can imagine. I always feel spoiled rotten. Our one bedroom suite was enormous and recently refreshed with fabulous new furniture, linens and fixtures - even a TV in the mirror of the bathroom! Breakfast at Verandah is always a treat, and I was thrilled that one of the waitresses actually remembered me from the year before. My apologies to housekeeping if there were fingernail scratches near the door of our room - my husband had to practically drag me out, I never wanted to leave! ;-) Can't wait to return next year.

The service throughout the hotel was one of the best I've ever had... the Verandah was frequented quite a lot and they undertook special requests from me and my family very well since we are all vegetarian. Check-in had some confusion due to Amex booking process but was resolved smoothly, thanks to Frank.

Had to go to Vegas for a conference and generally dislike the large, noisy, casino hotels but this was an absolute Oasis. Some minor quibbles: the water was quite hard in the shower and toiletries could have been better... Would have ideally liked a separate kettle for tea instead of heating in the coffee maker (and some more tea choice rather than just the one black tea).

Otherwise great hotel but a little pricey during the convention...

We had a very relaxing stay at the Four Seasons. I was there for a trade show and I really appreciated the tranquility and quiet of the Four Seasons after a stressful day at the show.
The hotel is on the top floors of the Mandalay Bay and it is such a pleasure to escape the Mandalays insanity and crowds to go to the peacefulness of the Four Seasons.
Checking in was especially great. I usually dread check in at Las Vegas hotels. Even at the Bellagio and Caesars, the line is endless and the negotiations to get a nice room can be difficult . It's especially trying after a 5 or 6 hour flight..
At the Four Seasons,it was a pleasure. No line, very accommodating check in person..
But you pay for this. The room was over $400 per night. Don't expect huge rooms like Rio or Venetian either. It's a nice luxury room - tastefully ,actually beautifully furnished, marble bathroom ,but nothing over the top or knock your socks off ...
But that was fine for me.
The pool area is private but quite small. But the staff waits on you with foot massages and pitchers of water. You pay a mandatory $25 a day resort fee.The gym and spa is not bad but it's nothing like Canyon Spa ,but its very serviceable . Spa treatments if you are interested are not cheap either.
The restaurant for breakfast and lunch is very expensive and decent, again nothing extraordinary .
All in all ,if you don't care about gambling-there is none- and you want to get away from crowds and tumult and you are not too poor, the Four Seasons is a nice treat.

Vegas is hectic. Especially if you are there for an event such as the JCK (you know who you are!) We have stayed at virtually every major hotel, but this is our favorite. The simple reason is privacy and calm. You have a private entrance and lobby that spares you the indignity of a casino gauntlet whenever you enter or exit. There is also an intimate private pool with service beyond compare...... free evian face spray, juice and coffee shots, cucumber infused water(served by the pitcher), frozen mini peppermint patties, etc etc. lovely yet novel. the gardens are lovely and there is a paved walk for the fit. It's a four seasons so the room was as expected, what makes the experience so grand in Vegas is the privacy and calm! Try it :-)

My wife and I had the opportunity to visit the Four Seasons Las Vegas for 5 nights last week. I have stayed at the Mandalay and THE Hotel on site in the past and from now on will indeed stay at the Four Seasons. Yes, it is at the far end of the strip, but to me, that is a good thing.

Some highlights:

First and foremost, the concierge staff, especially Cara. I arranged in advance to have some flowers in the room to surprise my wife. Cara and the team were a great help in making the arrangement and the flowers were gorgeous.

The pool service was top notch. The water pitchers were never empty, the food and drink service was prompt and tasty. I appreciate the fact that the pool is smaller and definitely quieter than the big resort pools. We never had a problem finding a lounge chair and utilized the cabana several times.

The rooms were tastefully decorated, the linens clean and pillows and bedding smelled nice and fresh. We both found the bed incredibly comfy, and were able to crank the air down at night for a real comfortable sleep. Minimal to no noise in the halls or from the rooms around and above. The room was made up promptly each day and the housekeeping staff were polite when we interrupted them once. The shower is on the small side, but it was sufficient. On the 37th floor, in room wireless worked just fine.

The lobby and carport staff were very attentive, always said hello and offered their help. I will add that I think the multiple entry points to the rooms and the spread out lobby remove a certain sense of community found at other Four Seasons resorts. Meaning..... at many of their other resorts you see the same people every day and they get to know you and greet you by name. Here, because you go through any number of points to get to your room, you do lose this nice touch. That said, all the staff were helpful.

The coffee at Press was just OK. The afternoon bar service was better. The Verandah breakfasts and service were excellent. We did check out the Raffles breakfast one morning. For the nominal price difference, the Verandah was superior. We did not eat at Charlie Palmers or utilize room service.

All in all, quite impressed, we got the great summertime rates and will look to go back again another time.

Room Tip: We were on 37th floor, view of the mountains. Midway down the hall. Far enough from the elevator...
