We had to go to the Mandalay Bay for a convention. It's a zoo, but the top 4 or 5 floors of the hotel are occupied by the Four Seasons with its own lobby, bars and restauarant and NO CASINO! It is therefore an oasis of calm and well worth staying if you can't stand the full on frenetic Vegas 24 hours a day. The Verandah Bar opens out to the patio area by the pools and is also great outdoor area for breakfast. The lobby bar is a good place for a quiet meeting. The rooms are top quality with great views due to high floors (35th floor and upwards). If you want the mad stuff, just walk through to the Mandalay Bay, it's right on the doorstep. Highly recommended

Recently spent 5 days at the Four Seasons. As others have noted, the hotel occupies the top floors of the Mandalay Bay. There is no casino in the Four Seasons, which makes the resort smoke-free and quiet. One can easily access the Mandalay Bay casino and pools. Staff was exceptional; rooms were nice, clean, and well appointed. Beds were wonderful!

My one disappointment was the pool. The Four Seasons' pool is not very large and it was very crowded. Although folks can use the many pools at the Mandalay, there were a lot of children (including babies in diapers,) parents making insulting comments at the older folks swimming there, etc., in the Four Seasons pool. Also, the temperatures were in the three digits and there were no umbrellas for use. There were two or three seats with covers, but the rest of the seats were completely exposed. I would expect a Four Seasons Hotel to at least offer umbrellas.

The food from the hotel restaurant was good, but not exceptional. Also, the Four Seasons and Mandalay are at the end of the strip. Ordinarily, I don't mind walking, but when the temperatures are in the three digits, it meant a lot of cabs.

I would stay here again if on business and if I had no desire to use the hotel's pool. In other respects, it was lovely.

Great hotel. Very calm when compared with the rest of Vegas. We loved being able to take the kids to the Mandlay bay wave pool in the same complex and then return after to the quietness of the Four Seasons. The bars and restaurants were good, though pricey. Breakfast buffet was really good. Gym was nice and our one bedroom suite was spacious for a family of 4 and nicely finished. We'd definitely return.

We stayed here in 2009 when we came to Vegas to get married and loved this hotel. Pleased to say that the hotel is still as lovely now as it was then (see earlier review - still relevant as the hotel has not really changed).

This time we were offered a reduced upgrade on arrival so decided to splash out and took a 180 degree strip view suite. Wow! All along the 180 degree expanse were floor to ceiling windows with stunning strip views. Loved the walk-in closet and the lounge area also. Check out the pictures to get an idea - just as good as it looks on the website. Felt like celebrities!

The concierge service was excellent and organised and great trip around Vegas in an SUV for us (which was actually less expensive than going on an organised limo trip and was even better as we had the driver to ourselves and could go where we wanted). Would definitely recommend checking with the concierge before booking any trips.

Nothing much has changed in the 3 years since we last were at the Four Seasons, which is good, as nothing needed to be changed. It probably has more competition now from other newer non-gaming hotels that have opened recently, however it is still a great option for some relaxation and pampering away from the madness (yet easily within reach of the madness via the monorail from Mandalay Bay).

The only negative thing I would say is that we noticed a slight change in the customer service in general in some areas since last time. For example, when we stayed in 2009 we were blown away by the restaurant staff and liked the way they seemed to remember your name and would greet you by name every morning at breakfast (just a small thing but made you feel special). This time, however, breakfast was more buffet style and random (you were immediately encouraged to have the buffet which now runs every day instead of ordering from the menu) and the staff didn't remember you anymore on entry and would just say "are you a guest at the hotel?" every morning. Not a big deal but, for some reason, even though we were staying in one of the top suites this time, we felt the service in general didn't match our first stay there 3 years ago when we were staying in a smaller room. Not a big deal though really, just an observation. I would bet that the service at the Four Seasons is still miles better than most other hotels on the strip (especially the gaming ones, where customer service sometimes depends on how much you are spending in the casino). We would definitely still recommend this hotel.

The four seasons is the place to stay if you want to be close to the action, but still have great service. They have put a wonderful lobby bar in, so they are changing and keeping up with the latest trends,This hotel gives you service, and excellence everywhere you go front herons to the spa. Definitely five star.

Room Tip: This is one of the few hotels that strip view truly means strip view.

I stayed at the Four Seasons in Las Vegas with great expectations. Sadly, the property did not meet my hopes - but came close. It was a "re-uniting" of my son - freshly back from the military and myself with my wife. I told the front desk that my son was coming in and they assured me that they would make his arrival memorable. Well .... somewhere along the way ....... things got botched. Then it happened again after they apologized profusely. They said they tried to deliver a "welcome back" package but we had a "do not disturb" sign on the door - which simply was not true. Anyway, the pool is small but nice and quiet. The restaurants are very expensive but above average. And the staff tries hard but doesn't always deliver. I think there are comperable hotels that do a little better job with customer service. Maybe we'll be back - I don't know. They tried to "make it right" for us but that's gotten botched too ..... very close to great just doesn't make it sometimes.
