We have stayed at Sam's Town many times over the last 10 years or so and have just returned from our last visit. Just as comfortable and homey as always. The rooms and decor are a little dated but we think that this is part of its charm.
The pool area is very pleasant and the pool is kept at a good temperature as is the spa.
The only thing we don't recommend is the Buffet for meals, but there are other good eating places on site and of course lots in the vicinity.
THIS IS THE HOTEL WE RECOMMEND TO ALL OUR FRIENDS.

Room Tip: Rooms all much the same though if you want to overlook the indoor park with lazer show etc, pay that...

I've stayed a quite a few Hotel/Casinos since moving to Las Vegas and Sam's Town is by far the best!!! I was given 2 complimentary nights but I was so impressed I stayed a 3rd night. My kids and their kids came over and there was something for everyone to enjoy. The adults gambled and played bingo, the kids swam, went to movies, and enjoyed the light show then we all ended the night at the bowling alley where we had a blast!!! Sam's Town u rock!!!!

The room was spotless, no dust bunnies in the corners, clean crisp linens. The food at the hotel was excellent and the staff were all friendly and courteous.
They also have an excellent players card with numerous specials for seniors.
We stay in the Vegas area before heading south for the winter and spent a few days on the strip and a few days at another casino in the Henderson area. This year we tried Sam's Town and are totally pleased with our decision.
On our way home we stayed for 4 days with 2 being complimentary and the other 2 paid for with our comps.
Considering we are not "High Rollers" this was great.
Should mention they also have an airport shuttle (excellent) and buses that take you to Fremont St. and Harrah's on the strip.
Sam's Town is now our favorite!!!!

I was so happy that our recent trip to Sam's Town was such a pleasant surprise. Not that I didn't expect a certain level of service and services, but they have it all covered. Good food choices and good food. Great service and I loved how many employees you see working, serving and the Security personel made me feel safe, not that I had reason to feel otherwise, it was very comforting. I love the inside garden area and all of the little food places available at all hours. You never have to leave, I didn't even think of leaving and we were there three days. We are going back and expect to have a wonderful time again. Gambling was fun and gave me alot of play.

We visited Sam's Town on a recent trip to LV. We did not stay at the hotel, but went to have dinner at Billy Bob's. The meal, as well as the service, was great and priced right. Well worth the drive from the Strip. We would like to stay there next time and try out the hotel. It looks like it would be a nice place to stay. I recommend it highly. Of course the gambling was pretty fun also, we were pretty lucky there! The staff was cordial and professional .

As with all Sam Boyd Properties---it just seems that these resorts cater to whims and fancies that add up to making your trip seem so special.I've told Sam's Town employees that they should be proud of the customer service they provide their guests-It means a lot to my wife and I to be treated as family while away from home.Sam's Town is a nice little gem 6 miles away from the strip---but as usual in taking care of your needs---they provide a free shuttle bus to both the new and old strips. Please give it a try next time your in Las vegas---you won't be disappointed.

Room Tip: I'm sure some travelers have their special needs---all the rooms we've ever had at Sam's...

We had a great time here and a nice room that overlooked the atrium. The only bad thing I have to say about this place is it's location. It's too far away from the Strip or Downtown action. Make sure you have a car or you will spend a lot on cabs. Loved the Atrium Light Show, try to get a room facing the atrium and you can watch it from your room. They don't have a refrigerator, but you can get one for a small fee. If your a slot player you get play for your money and they have a nice selection. Romm was very nice, but the beds need updating, not pillow top and a little hard; however, everything was very nice and clean. The bathroom is basic and meets your needs.

Room Tip: Make sure you have a car if you stay here and want to visit the strip. Also, get a BConnected Playe...
