“My hotel of choice in Vegas”

Sam's Town has most everything that one needs. It has a relaxing rain forest courtyard, shops, fast food, restaurants, buffets, theaters, and a bowling alley. You are away from the crowds, glitz, and noise of the strip. Yet, the strip is readiy assessable by shuttle. We did not bother with going to the strip on this trip. We did take the shuttle downtown. The Fremont Stree Experience seems to be going down hill some. Where there was once no panhandlers, they are, now, in the mall area and in the casinos. Where there were once only a few venders, the mall is lined with kiosks including overhead ziplines. I think that I'll not go there again.

At Sam's, the entire staff is friendly. We spent two days there and was not ignored one time by the staff. When I return to Vegas, this is the place for me.

Stayed at Sams Town for nascar race. Really enjoyed it. The rooms we really nice, clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the show with the wolf coming out of the mountain. Food was good and slots were loose, at least for me. Shuttle to airport and the strip. We would stay there again.

Room Tip: get a room overlooking the mountain

We have stayed at Sam's Town for several years now, most recently the end of February 2013. It has had many changes over the years but continues to be a place where you feel comfortable and safe. The enclosed central courtyard is a beautiful, peaceful place where you can stroll or sit and read with a cup of coffee. We are not buffet fans but Willy & Jose's Mexican Restaurant and Billy Bob's Steakhouse are affordable with excellent food. There is also a movie complex within the hotel/casino and various other shops and chain restaurants. If you've never stayed there and you are tired of the crowds on the Strip, try Sam's Town.

Room Tip: Ask for a room that overlooks the interior courtyard.

My husband and I travel to Vegas at least once a year. We stay at this hotel for several reasons which I will share with you. From the moment we arrive, the valets are friendly, helpful and can get you a great deal on golf. Then the staff inside is just as kind. Every aspect of the customer service is friendly and kind. If you pass one of them in the hall, they speak to you and make sure all is well. Since we only paid 26.00 a night we were very pleasantly surprised by the size and cleanliness of the room. This is a great place for families and we feel safe at this hotel. A special thing for those diabetics like myself. They have a huge sugar free dessert section in the buffet and I was so surprised at how wonderful these items tasted. We recommend Sams Town to all our friends and family for a family friendly stay in Vegas away from the hustle of the strip.

The hotel was clean and had a friendly staff. It was great for our young family. The park view room was fun for us and the kids. Mystic Falls also was good. We enjoyed the food options and also the bowling and theater. For the price this hotel was perfect for us. Excellent value on the Boulder highway.

On February 11,we booked a room for 4 nights at Sam's Town for $25.00 a night. Wasn't expecting too much but were we pleasantly surprised! The rooms have been redone. Not even a hint of smoke in the room, The room was large, clean and quiet. Great staff. Easy check in. They have a nice lobby with a waterfall and lots of foilage. Every morning we took the free shuttle down to the strip. It runs every hour and twenty minutes. We will not stay on the strip again. This was so much nicer and cleaner than some of the strip hotels and soooo much cheaper.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the interior have a nice view of the garden and waterfall.
