Sam's Town has most everything that one needs. It has a relaxing rain forest courtyard, shops, fast food, restaurants, buffets, theaters, and a bowling alley. You are away from the crowds, glitz, and noise of the strip. Yet, the strip is readiy assessable by shuttle. We did not bother with going to the strip on this trip. We did take the shuttle downtown. The Fremont Stree Experience seems to be going down hill some. Where there was once no panhandlers, they are, now, in the mall area and in the casinos. Where there were once only a few venders, the mall is lined with kiosks including overhead ziplines. I think that I'll not go there again.
At Sam's, the entire staff is friendly. We spent two days there and was not ignored one time by the staff. When I return to Vegas, this is the place for me.
