We stayed here for a Bachelorette party. The location is excellent, you can walk everywhere! (Bring good shoes). The hotel does not do a good job promoting it's own amenities. We had to ask where everything was, and we found things we would have liked to check out on our last day. The hotel has quite a few bars and restaurants attached to it that are not promoted by staff, when you check in. Everything we uncovered was by accident or bumping into a club promoter. The pool is on the 6th floor, to access you need your room key and to have your bag checked by security. It is a popular place so trying to get a lounge chair after 11am is virtually impossible. We had great times up there. Many guests are friendly and staff is informative. There is a great cafe and bar up there that always has something tasty to eat from burgers, sandwiches, salads, pizza, fruit platters etc.. We found this area useful to fill up our water bottles at the water fountain and stay hydrated. Don not expect to see very many servers. I only saw one the whole time. It is a big place and you are best to go and get your own drinks at one of the two bars. As with any casino it is smoky, your eyes will be red everyday because of the air quality. Go out and enjoy a drink on the patio, on the strip side. It's a great place to start the day/night. We found a lot of the restaurants overpriced and not great quality. But you have your pick of all the restaurants. We went to a great club in the hotel one night called the Gallery. Go here. It just opened 6 months ago and is excellent. You get free cover with your room key. Saw a couple of celebs there. Bottle service is pricey. Overall great times at the hotel. Much because it is close to everything else on the strip. Shuttle to outlets is here. Bally's 5minutes walk, Ceasars, 10mins. Paris next door.

Stayed at this hotel for 3 days, I think for the price and location it was great, as it is the middle of the Vegas strip it is probably best location for a hotel especially for watching the fountains at the Bellagio, shops and walking up to the Malls.

Although it is a super lively hotel quite noisy always buzzing especially by the casino and planet dailies so think best for a younger crowd, would say great thing being the Earl of sandwich in the hotel - great food!!

If you like to gamble the tables are always fun and busy and the dealers all seem really sweet - won big on the Roulette table here :)

great for walking straight into the shopping mall as well which is attached to the building, I have stayed at a few hotels in Vegas and would say this is quite a good option especially if you get a good price.

I even thought the casino and food areas looked in reasonably good condition and very clean, the rooms are also quite spacious and clean.

good young lively hotel in a good location...

Stayed at the hotel during a 2 week visit with my wife to the US. Booked it last July and they still managed to find us the dullest room of the whole holiday. It was dusty and dark although clean. This is my second visit to Vegas and if I went back I wouldnt stay here. I would stay at a newer hotel with modern rooms like across the road at Cosmo.
Went down for breakfast the 1st morning and got charged $45 for some breakfast which was full of salt. The miracle mile was good with all the shops and that is about all I can say I liked this hotel for. Having said all that the hotel is great for location right in the middle of the strip.

Planet Hollywood is in a GREAT location! As mentioned by other reviewers, this hotel definitely caters to a younger crowd. My husband and I are in our late twentys and so we totally enjoyed our stay! The vibe is hip, exciting, eclectic, and funky-in a good way of course. The room was very modern, and the bathroom was surprisingly big for a standard hotel room. But back to the location.....it is right smack dab in the middle of the strip, across from the Belaggio and the Cosmopolitan, and next door to Paris. So you're in a good walking distance from all those hotels including Ceasars Palace, MGM Grand, and New York New York. We also spent a couple nights at the Venetian, which is by far on a more luxurious scale then PH, HOWEVER you are at the opposite end of all of the above mentioned hotels and it was a HIKE and at times, despite the luxury, we honestly wished we were back at PH. There is a nice indoor/outdoor restaurant in front of PH called Cabo Wabo that we ate at a few days. Again, because of the location, sitting outside was a treat because you had a wonderful view of the strip and you can see the Bellagio water show across the street. The Miracle Mile shops and restaurants are also inside of the PH which provided convenience. I would highly recommend eating at Earl of Sandwich. Their sandwiches are to die for at a very reasonable price. We didn't spend any time at the pool so I can't provide a review on that. The one thing I will say tis that I wish PH had was a fridge and microwave, but the Venetian didn't have one either so I'm not sure if this is common at most hotels on the strip. But if you're young, or young at heart, I would definitely suggest you book your stay at PH. You won't be disappointed!

Our first trip to Vegas with my son and future DIL who have been a number of times before. Planet Hollywood was a great choice - perfect location, great buffet breakfast, lovely room with fantastic view up the strip. Also had great shopping mall directly from the hotel/casino area. We also had one lunch in the hotel restaurant which was fantastic value for money.
Hope to be back one day.

Overall it was ok.
Pros - location
- great prices and quality at earl of sandwich
- good deals at miracle mile shops
OK - casino, rooms
Cons - upsell at check in, they tried to get us to upgrade our room for $50 and up. The people beside us were offered $20 and up. Because we didn't want an upgrade, we had to wait 2 hours to check in.
- very noisy people in hallways all hours of night, every night. Front desk won't answer phone, so I had to yell at them
- parking garage is very far from casino

Room Tip: Stay elsewhere
