I've been to Vegas too many times to remember, and have stayed at just as many hotels, from the shabbiest to the finest. The hotel, oddly enough, that I've frequented the most falls somewhere in the middle (closer to the top) of that list. Planet Hollywood is certainly not the best hotel in Las Vegas, but for my money, they don't get any more convenient, for location and for my wallet. The rooms are nicely appointed, comfortable and clean. The location is in the direct center of the strip. Oh, and the fact that the Hotel/Casino is surrounded by a great Mall certainly doesn't hurt, when I realize that I've forgotten an item of clothing that I really need (which happens more often than not).

Room Tip: It certainly doesn't hurt to request a room on an upper level facing the strip for a view of the...

This was our 6th trip to vegas and first stay at ph. My husband and i loved this property! Our room was perfect, we upgraded to a resort vista room and it was worth the $20 per night extra. We had a great view of the strip and could sit in the huge bathtub and watch the fountains and the action on the strip. The casino is great and the willy wonka games paid out huge for penny slots! This will be our first choice for hotels in the future. We have stayed at the Wynn, Aria, Harrah's (twice) and Monte Carlo, so these are what we are comparing. Of course the Wynn had the best rooms, but the location is so far from the strip. PH is the primo location to everything on the strip!!

Room Tip: High room on strip so noise is lower

Had a wonderful time in an amazing room. My wife asked me if I even left the property in 3 days and I had to say no! Incredible! We had the Will Smith Suite. Memorabilia from several Will Smith movies displayed in the room. Overlooked the Eiffel Tower at the Paris hotel and the Bellagio fountains.

Room Tip: Rooms on the end of the floor with the double doors, amazing!

Once again, back at PH. The rooms are clean, if slightly dark - I was upgraded to a fountain view, but I did ask for it!

The casino buzzes 24 hours and the dining options are great. PF Chang's hits the right notes- as did Britney Spears (but she was miming), who we went to see in all her glory. The buffet has seen better days, but don't let that put you off. The Wynn or Cosmo, this ain't but in terms of good value, it is a hit and you could do a whole lot worse.

Easy access to Cosmopolitan and Strip, plus the integrated Walgreens is a winner!

This was our second stay at Planet Hollywood. Room was awesome! We were 2 floors above the pool in a corner room. The bathroom was far superior to any others we have had (Thank you Marilyn) and we have stayed in 21 different casinos. Coffee maker in the room was a big plus. Room was very clean and housekeeping did a great job keeping it that way. We were at the end of a hallway so it was VERY quiet. You cannot beat the location. Not only is PH located in the center of the strip, but with Miracle Mile right here, we had so many choices of where to eat. Machines were tight, but we found that to be true everywhere. Only negatives were a noisy fan (easily fixable) and poor wi-fi. We will definitely stay here again if the price is right.

Room Tip: Stay as far away from the elevators as possible. Makes for a long walk but is worth it for the peac...

Very good location on the strip close to all the major hotels and attractions. Found the check in and check out process to be unnecessarily long. Only a couple of the desks were staffed during times when you would expect the hotel to know they would be busy. Rooms were in good condition and the staff were helpful and friendly.

It was our first trip to las vegas so this hotel was perfect for us, the location was perfect the hotel was nice but not stuffy, and lots of great restaurants to choose from. Our room was the hollywood hip room we were on the 34 floor and it was great with a nice few of the strip.
